If acupoints and meridians were real, wouldn’t they vary in location just as other anatomical structures do? During embryologic development, DNA provides a general recipe but not precise instructions. Just look at the veins on the back of your hands: the location of the veins on your two hands is not identical, and they certainly don’t match the location of veins in other individuals. There are diagrams of dermatomes showing which areas of the skin are innervated by which spinal nerve. There is considerable variation. An area of skin supplied by T6 (the 6th thoracic spinal nerve) in one individual might be supplied by T5 or T7 in another individual. There are 12 pairs of ribs, but about 1 in 200-500 people have an extra cervical rib. A few people have a bifurcated rib. Most of us have 5 lumbar vertebrae, but some of us have 6. Some people are born with a solitary kidney instead of the usual pair. I could go on…So why should we assume acupoints are more predictable?

RipT Workshops they do vary in locations and you can buy medical devices that will locate acupuncture points as the electrical impedance differ from the surrounding skin.

@@sbacupuncturecpdtraining hey Steve, I've subscribed.. I currently have 3 in my head lol and one on the side of my neck watching your videos -- where can I find the medical device? would make it better for me
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining4 жыл бұрын
@@incogb6696 Thank you for getting in touch. There are several available on the market. The best thing would be to contact a local acupuncture supply. They will have a range of these devices to suit your needs. Some will come as part of a electroacupuncture device for treatment and others will be a stand alone device for locating points only.

If you cultivated your comprehension skills R.T. W. instead of your parroting skills , you might have realized that what you've just said IS precisely what the video itself is saying ...and ditto you might learn something other than the opposite of actuality, which is what we are indoctrinated with.... unbe*******lievable !

you cant because they don't exist.
@sbacupuncturecpdtraining4 жыл бұрын
RipT Workshops if acupuncture points don’t exist can you explain why acupuncture is rapidly growing in popularity throughout the world in the medical profession. I am a physiotherapist and a podiatrist and we train in acupuncture and can get insurance cover through each regulatory body. As healthcare practitioners we can only use treatment modalities that are evidence based. You have doctors using acupuncture for a wide range of conditions to say acupuncture points don’t exist and don’t work. Do you have a credible evidence based explanation. Not one based on personal opinions.
