It's crazy to have been a Sabrina fan not only pre-short n' sweet, but also pre-emails i can't send. Witnessing her pretty sudden skyrocket to the mainstream (which is kinda funny to say considering she was in girl meets world a whole decade ago) has been insane. Especially all the sudden hate bandwagoning just because all the miserable interent people are only just now finding out about her. Short n' Sweet is not only a fantastic pop album, but a great window into how much of a genius she is when it comes to writing pop music and inserting her unmistakable personality into the fabric of it all. Haters calling her basic annoys me to no end because genuinely, if you just listen Taste alone and pay attention to the way it's structured, it's just so easy to appreciate. Unless you happen to hate the genre altogether for whatever reason lol. If you wanna see more people appreciate the album, I highly recommend watching turning the tables' reaction on their youtube channel cuz it's great to see people (especially two seperate generations) give genuine commentary as well as the proper credit she deserves. Anyway, sorry for the ramble. As a long time fan of hers who remembers listening to Espresso the day it dropped and not thinking it would ever become a monster radio hit, I'm always at the ready to defend THEE Sabrina Carpenter! Other than that, I just wanna say our top 2 albums of the year are exactly the same so that's pretty cool. HMHAS for album of the year at the grammys needs to happen, and we gotta stop snubbing tøp at the grammys too!

taste actually has some pretty mature vocal parts during the verses. as popular as she is, i don’t think people are fully recognizing her talent. this girl can sing!

I'm so glad you did this video!! I was hoping you would!! I love ranking albums and have been relistening to them and seeing if their ranking has stayed the same. I totally agree with you that this year has been AMAZING for releases. It's literally been insane! Every time I thought there couldn't possibly be another album, there was!! Like I felt like I kept getting surprised. Everyone delivered, and maybe it's their best yet!! There are so many, that I haven't even fully caught up yet!! Mine will have to be a top six for now, so here it goes! 1. Clancy - Twenty One Pilots 2. Hit Me Hard and Soft - Billie Eilish 3. For Cryin' Out Loud - Finneas 4. Moon Music (Full Moon Edition) - Coldplay 5. Dayglow - Dayglow 6. Model - Wallows Also, I too, have gone back and fourth, like a million times between if Twenty One Pilots's album or Billie Eilish's album should be first. Also I still need to relisten to Coldplay and Finneas's album, but that's where I think they'll be!!

I have a short album list for 2024. Can’t lie Clancy consumed most of it. My second would be from zero just because I do like heavy is the crown a lot. And the emptiness machine is a banger too. I’ve not listened to all the album yet. Linkin park is a touchy thing with me because before Tyler Joseph stole my heart chester Bennington had it. It’s still crushing he’s not here all these years later. But I’m happy for Mike getting things going again and I like Emily’s style. I posted a short of Tyler’s scream from the line live and the number of people referring his scream to Chester’s was ❤🥹 anyways I enjoyed and I might just have to check out your other choices

When you put From Zero on your list, you didnt just make your friend happy 😂 its such a good album! Also, i dont know if youve heard of him but i recommend checking out jxdn, hes one of my fave artists behind TØP and machine gun kelly 😂
