Why not make a silent alarm system where if the car is stolen, a special system pumps the car full of carbon monoxide, then all the police have to do is look for someone with CO poisoning at the wheel of a car. This ensures that the thief will not get very far and will prevent them from resisting arrest when the police catch them, thus safe for everyone.

Good point there about all the smarts in new car keys making them several hundred dollars for a spare or replacement. Maybe in the future, all those key smarts could be replaced by your smartphone, using something like NFC or Bluetooth for identification and authentication. And eventually, DNA & Voiceprint ID could be used.

+Miguel Monreal Joy riding kids love crappy cars. My ugly '96 Honda Accord was stolen. They are the most stolen car in America, because they are easy to steal. They left it with cigarette butts, dead battery, no gas, and a hypodermic needle in it. Barf. So now I'm researching the best anti theft devices. I currently have a giant chain wrapped all around the brake pedal, gas pedal, and all around the steering wheel, with a big Master Lock. Looks ghetto but also looks very effective.

I dont get something can someone explain me? If I have a car that has a smart key and can be unlock by just holding the handle, wont that make it easier for a thief? Like for example, if we sleep near the car, wont the theif just unlock the car easily and drive off? Thanks anyone who would reply.
@jimbo43758 жыл бұрын
Thieves can use an amplifier to open your keyless entry car if the keys are in close by in your house. To block this you can keep you keys in a Faraday cage, there are also special bags you can get for the key to block the signal.
@mart1820038 жыл бұрын
With factory alarms they don't come with the glass break sensor what a thief can do is break the glass program another smart key and then take off with it. So it can actually make it easier for a thief.

All of the things which has been described in this video, will be failed, if the theft has connected wireless jammer in that car,, after he ripped off.. No gps,, trackers, Internet, Bluetooth, of or any remote systems will work.. Keep it in mind.. Better cut off all the connections in your car which can be helpful for thief, to connect the jammer in your car, such as usb connection, cigarette lighter socket,, & others plugs in any.
