Good choices. I like throwing a double willow spinnerbait before the sun really gets up and usually catch really good ones for the first hour or so and when that bite dies i go to similar lures that you showed. Great video Jason! Its hot but you can still have a blast catching those summer bass.

Jason. I live in Indiana. The summer days are Hot! and Humid! I found last week Jig fishing ruled along with Chatterbaits. Jigs along the shore shallow and chatterbaits around the grass pockets. But the jig produced the bigger bass. My ponds are chocked full of grass right at the top of the water. So cranks don't cut it or spinnerbaits. Just bought 5 Strike King Hybrid Hunter Jr's in different colors. Going to give them a try along with the River to Sea glide baits that are coming soon! My P B is at 6 pounds. I am really just wanted a few big bass. I hope I am headed in the right direction. Got a All white swim bait and trailer on too. To drag the bottom with. Keep your great videos coming. Shawn.

Same here in Ohio. It's hot and humid as heck by the time 930-10 rolls around. The ponds I fish are also choked with grass and or have no structure to speak of. I may head to Brookville, Indiana this weekend and see what I can do on Brookville Lake. Tight lines everyone.
