Slow dragging a Texas rig in dog days has always worked well for me. When I mean slow drag it’s almost a dead stick for some of the biggest late summer bites for me. Finesse and presentation are key to catching fish this time of year. Also fishing at prime time will dawn/dusk will increase bite percentage. Awesome video and great information!!!

Hey Jason just wanted to comment on the great job you did building the finesse spinnerbait . I'm waiting for my rod so I can throw it. We have small bait fish in Missouri so thanks alot for making this profile. God bless you and your family your. Ps I think your spinnerbait is the best I've seen on the market for a while. The components are top grade.

Don't forget those 10" ribbon tail Texas rig worms , caught a nice almost 4 lb largie this morning on one, they've been eating whopper poppers too. Love this time of year, hardly anyone on the lake.

Anyone have any recommendations on how to throw that bandit 200 on a Baitcaster. I’ve been trying to throw it on a dobyns 705cb rod with 10lb floro and a lews speed spool and cannot throw it without the brakes set on max and having done that I can’t get any distance out of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Medium moderate, medium mod fast rod should cast them fine.

It hasn't been a good year for topwater for me but the dropshot has been THE ticket for the last month or so
