Same here I’m recovering from Covid but what I found best to get my stamina back is, going outside and running or walking for some time and exercise but if you are having complications with breathing than I suggest going to a doctor for advice if you can do any exercising or playing basketball

Yes u need to be confident shooting because if your coaches see you not shooting the ball then they see it as your scared and they see hesitation even if you miss be confident with your shot and form remember you won’t make shots if you don’t shoot shots good luck to you

You win a basketball game by scoring more points than your opponents. If you can't score, you not getting on the team, simple. Three biggest fundamentals to making the team. 1. Defense 2. Dribbling 3. Shooting In that order. You need to be able to do all 3.

I be scared to make an mistake because when I get the ball , it’s always an laugh because I’m going side to side instead of dribbling while people are in front of me blocking me .. I just have feelings that they think I’m bad at ball or sum … it makes me feel insecure😢

But I wasn’t allowed to do scrimmages and stuff 4 games. And going to games was a waste of me time cause I just went to home games and we lost every home game. But since I was a freshman and that was a freshman team idk what there record was but we had 1 win and we had 2 sophomores who had varsity minutes help them on a road game. One of them scored 27 points and the other one got a 10,10,10 triple double. And I know the other team used sophomores 2. But I mean it’s not bad but it depends on the coach

i’m never gonna know how to explain this but i have so much natural talent with basketball but i just don’t understand the structure of high school basketball or 5 on 5 basketball in general…when i played in my sophomore year i always looked clueless on the court due to the fact i did not comprehend plays and small things like where i’m supposed to stand in certain situations i’d feel embarrassed, i know the basics like dribbling, (not spamming dribbles ) passing and shooting but besides that i look dumb
