Hey bit off topic but I’m new to cricket and im considering buying a cricket bat. Im 16 years old and im 5,8. What size bat will be perfect for me?? Would you say a harrow sized bat?

Hi there - check out our size guide on our website 👉 ecs.page.link/GoG6n At 5'8 you're on the cusp of a Harrow and Short Handle. In this instant we would recommend (if you can) heading to a shop and getting a feel for the difference between the two in size and weight. There are many great transition bats on offer too, which give you a light weight option at a Short Handle length. Hope this helps!🏏

It's great to see you deploy this tool in an intelligent fashion. It's very simple but can really offer a lot and give one the chance to work on things by yourself.

Something I have been trying to improve on is stepping out to the spinners. I close my eyes until i hear the THUD noise from the Feed Buddy. That sort of takes away an extra split second from me and I still have to step out and hit the ball hard. Something people can try.

At a point in the video Richard said “I’m just shuffling my feet so I can hit mid off” that’s all well and good when it’s not actually bowler steaming in at you! In fact if a bowler was running in this drill would be invalid because he’s setting himself up to shots that he knows what the machine is feeding him if for instance he shuffled he’s feet towards leg to hit mid off which he done a good quality bowler which just dart in a low Yorker aimed at off stump which has no reply unless you at Calibar of a batsman to dig it out

The purpose of this machine is to practice our shots and shapes. Batting is a twofold process, first comes decision making and second follows shot execution. The feed buddy allows batters to practice the shot execution side and not the decision-making element of what shot to play when the ball comes down the wicket, as the ball feed is consistent, similar to a bowling machine. Happy Hitting 🏏

best way to use this useless device would probably be to stand close and practice the pull shot on a full toss... otherwise its pointless the balls dont come fast enough to do practice anything..
