Thank you for this very nice video; I really appreciate your inclusive spirit, commenting on handicap, accessibility for the different walks. I recently visited these sites with a powerful mobility scooter. Generally speaking, the high mountain trails are not suitable for a mobility scooter - uneven surfaces with obstructions (drainage channels on the diagonal/ Little Rock ledges), some very steep gravel surface sections, narrow paths canted downhill. That said, one should not hesitate to travel to the high country with a wheelchair or scooter. The views from the central areas up top are spectacular; the gondola operators and staff are extremely kind and helpful (as with so many in the transportation and hospitality industry in Switzerland). Please be careful to stay back from edges and steep sections. I can’t wait to return to the region; looking forward to also trying some of the hikes through valleys.

As someone with a mobility impairment I appreciate you letting us know when there is paving or obstacles, I'd love to walk all of these!

I’ve done the Lauterbrunnen valley (there are one or two bus stops along the way), the Mürren to Gimmelwald, and the Royal Walk a number of times. All three should not be missed. I’m 71 in good health and average physical condition. I can walk downhill or level for HOURS, but I struggle with inclines. Note that with my situation I can accomplish the Royal Walk but have to stop several times to catch my breath; but it’s SO worth it. Alternatively, at the top of the gondola station you can turn in the opposite direction for a lovely slightly downhill walk along the Männlichen ridge with the Eiger and Mönch in your face the whole time. That hike’s nickname is “the Granny hike” if that gives yoy any clue as to accessibility 😊). Keep in mind that if you walk all the way to Kleine Scheidigg that the train is a special mountain train with extra fees. You can always walk part of it and tun around and go back to the gondola station.

Thank you so much for this video. I was able to identify the two hikes my hubby and I will plan on doing while we are in the region this august. Murren to Gimmelwald, and the Mannlichen Royal Walk. Perfect for what we want to experience and our physical abilities.

We did the egg itaramen hike today, and it was amazing. Best possible views. Thanks for recommending. On the way back, we took the inner tracks (not the bus route) and it made the trek memorable.

I did a few of the hikes you mentioned last summer, but I have to say the Royal Walk was quite tough and not so easy as it sounds in your video. It's a 25 minutes steap hike and sometimes I had to stop because I was out of breath. But it was worth it for sure!

Love this video and your channel. Are there public bathrooms along the hikes?

I did the last two hikes. Number 4 is nice going downhill. The last one is the shortest of all the ones you have but it is uphill going to the lookout point and is a higher elevation so & the sun is stronger so if you’re going in the summer that can play a bigger factor.

Thanks for the amazing video! The weather looks perfect 😍 May I know if this was taken recently? We would be going to Interlaken soon and are a bit concerned about the weather...

In October, I’m going to be flying to Frankfurt Germany with my nephew and we plan to either rent a car and go down to Switzerland for a few days and then a few days in Germany before heading back to the states. I’m wondering if a train would be better than renting a car? I was wondering what your opinion was

I booked hotels for next week in Interlaken but forgot to check what it looks like at that time of the year. There's still snow and the grass is brown I'm gonna jump off a cable car 😭

We’ve noticed that all the signs are posted with trail times but not distance. The times seemed to be based on a fast young Swiss man that is familiar with the trail! Do you know why they use this system? Seems that distance would work for all abilities and speeds. 🇨🇭🥾🕰️
