I've got short, sad, Asian lashes so unfortunately there isn't a lot of mascaras that actually lift and curl my lashes up, so my favourite is the ISEHAN Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara (mouthful, I know). It just separates my lashes wonderfully, curls them, and makes my eyes look that much better. And the waterproof version lasts pretty dang long on my oily skin!

I LOVE the L'Oréal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara. It's hasn't smudged at all even through tears and sweat. The look is natural, long and lush, and it comes off like a dream! Highly recommend.

I totally agree about the Better than Sex mascara. Hate it!! Recently discovered Benefit Roller Lash and I didn't want to love it... but I do. I don't have oily skin but have watery eyes and this is the only one I've tried that doesn't transfer or flake on me. Love your videos!! Thanks so much.

Urban Decay Perversion makes my lashes BEAUTIFUL but I literally look like I have a black under eye area by the end of the day. I think it's because of the wet formula, but it's so sad because the volume it gives is INTENSE.

My favorite is Lancôme monsieur big. The brush is a little big but I have no problems with running or flaking. It makes your lashes super big and separates great! Super length and volume!

Since I do only use cruelty free and vegan products my favourites are the Full Fat Lashes by Charlotte Tilbury and some of the german drugstore brand “rival de loop”. Usually I use more high end stuff, but I think those are highly underrated. Note: I like big and full spoolie brushes. Not water-, but smudgeproof.

Oooo- I've used/loved Maybelline Full and Soft waterproof for almost 20 years, but recently I've been using IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara and I love it. I think it's my new thing. Strangely enough, I get my best results when I wet my lashes first and then go in with the Full and Soft. They are so clean and perfect, and the product doesn't shift despite the wet lashes. That's my hack! 💗

Every drug store mascara you mentioned flakes and smudges on me. 😫 I am mascara kryptonite! However, the L'Oréal Lash Paradise in waterproof has been the best mascara I've encountered in regards to flaking and smudging. It doesn't flake at all on me. By the end of the day there is some slight grey coloring on my undereye area, but it is not noticeable to others. That has been my lashes' savior.

I'm loving the Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume waterproof formula - the Max Factor False Lash Effect is exactly the same.... a larger silicone tipped brush but I've not had any troubles with it (I've got hooded lids so I tend to prefer a small spoolie type one). Lasts all day, separates lashes and builds on itself for volume and thickness.

Yes to lights camera lashes! I literally only have 2 mascaras and this one I reach for on those rushed mornings to look semi put together. The other is the Innisfree skinny volumecara it DOES NOT smudge and fans the lashes out perfectly but it leans towards the natural no make up look, for variety's sake :)

You're completely right, Maybelline do have some of the best mascaras on the market. My favourite is "lash sensational" in black pearl and "define a lash". Great brushes, awesome formula and no transferring. Benefit "they're real" mascara makes my eye makeup look like a hot mess after 10 minutes and it crumbles everywhere!

Yeap, definitely maybelline is one of the best brand on mascaras and the prices are suuuper affordable! Haven’t tried any of your top 5 🙈 (just yet) but my personally favorite of the moment is the maybelline falsies! Though I hate the brush it has, it gives great volume to the lashes. I have oily skin too. I had a quart-size Ziploc full of no-go mascaras, and I'm not a beauty blogger! I took pics of them and finally threw them out! BUT I use a waterproof clear topcoat! The clear part is helpful because even if it does flake, you can't see them!

I SWEAR by the purple lengthening wet N wild mascara paired with the Loriel telescopic in carbon black. Thoes two are a dynamic duo! Never bleeds or transfers (I'm super oily!) I have short, almost non existent lashes naturally, but with these they make them so LONG and thick without it looking like I have a billion layers of mascara on. Another thing I've found super important is to actually brush my lashes with a spooly or one of thoes eyebrow combs before mascara! Really makes all the difference!!

id HIGHLY recommend the loreal telescopic carbon black mascara, it feels like a luxury mascara and does not move from the lashes whatsoever even on my EXTREMELY oily skin that gets oily after only 30 min of foundation wear. the mascara is really lengthening and works well without curling

I feel like no one ever talks about the Almay Get Up and Grow mascara. It is so good! Perfectly spaced bristles on the wand. I can load my lashes and it doesn't clump up! The packaging is just a plain green cap and white tube so maybe no one notices it lol. i like your list, nikkia. i totally agree with you about lights, camera, lashes. i think it's my all time favorite. i do think it needs a week or so to dry out a little then it's absolute bomb and i find a tube lasts for months and the quality doesn't diminish as it gets older - which is hard to find in a mascara. Also totally agree with you about the dior one and they're real. i really hated the dior and just wasn't impressed with they're real. i also don't like the loreal vol lash paradise which it seems everyone was hyping on youtube for weeks. it doesn't flake or smudge on me but it's clumpy. thanks for the video!

I am an oily skin sister like you and I have had great luck with Lancome mascaras in general, but especially Grandiose ( not the waterproof its too hard to remove) and Hypnose, and Definicil. Brushes and formulas are awsome and they endure a whole day on me without giving me racoon eyes!!

I am a recent subscriber, and I love having someone I can relate tooooo! I had the same issue until I tried the makeup forever mascara. It's amazing. I'm not sure about staying on in a sauna, but it will get me through the day with beautiful lashes. Clinique also has a little baby mascara just for the bottom lashes to prevent smudging. It's $9 in the United States. It works great. The brush is just so mini that it takes a long time to apply.

I've been using one coat of the Benefit Rollerlash mascara and then I put 2-3 coats of the L'Oréal Lash Paradise on. I have just found this combo makes my lashes curled, voluminous, long, and just all around amazing. I know it's a bit "extra" but it's what works for me. I have short, straight lashes and I haven't found a way to use a curler that doesn't pinch my eyelid, I guess I have fat eyelids. 😂 but really, stays all day, doesn't smudge, looks like a professional did my eye makeup!

Ha you put two in the hated that I agree with. Tried both the Better than Sex Too Face and Benefit they’re real mascara and both leave me with raccoon eyes. They especially do not last after a work out session. Hands down my go to is the Maybelline colossal volume. It is my go to for years!!

Girl, I couldn't stand the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara. I hate the wand and the formula just didn't work for me. I wouldn't go near Tarte simply because I hated the packaging. However, I did try Maneater and was super disappointed. My go-tos have been Urban Decay's Troublemaker mascara and Cover Girl's Total Control.

I haaate DiorShow and Benefit They're Real. Urban Decay Perversion is also on my "no" list. I think my favorite drugstore mascara is still the original Voluminous in carbon black. It never fails me. I have really oily skin and it has always been a friend. As far as higher end mascaras I like Guerlain Maxilash, Better Than Sex, Rollerlash, Lancome Grandiose, and Tarte Lights Camera Lashes. I even like the Tarte Gifted mascara, as well. I recently got a sample of the MUFE Excessive Lash and LOVE it.

My favorite is definitely lash princess (green tube) by essence. Super cheap and looks amazing! Better than Sex was way overhyped. It was my first high end purchase and I was so disappointed.

I totally agree with Maybelline having the best mascaras! There is no other i would use except for Maybelline! I would be soooo paranoid and incomplete without them.. only Mabelline for my lashes; especially the MagNum Volume.. each time i will get people asking me what false lashes i have on and.... i dont even own and use false lashes!
