I think that the Megalania should be mentioned for it's ability to climb walls like the Thyla but unlike the Thyla, the Megalania can go upside down and traverse ANY surface flat, vertical or upside down.

I think east lava cave is easiest. Just jump down with pyromane. It has no trouble with any of the creatures. Mine doesnt barely take any damage. Then I just parachute+grapple back up with it on shoulder. . So easy. Got capped shotgun Bp today. Easy. Ty for the video. There's almost no vidoes online that has info on these caves. Cheers!!

Most of the caves are pretty easy tbh, compared to the Island at least XD No problem! Glad you enjoyed the video! :)

A few months late but oh well. The pyromane actually heals after it absorbs flames. This includes manually doing it (which is on a cooldown) or when it absorbs them after it kills something (which has no cooldown). This means that so long as you are killing something you will usually remain at max hp. Even killing a dodo will replenish a lot of hp. Makes the Pyromane a great caver as no matter what gets thrown at you, you can always just heal and keep on killing.

Always good advice and precautions bey! Also, the pyromane works extremely well in the artifact of the pack cave. Makes getting that 3rd red loot crate pretty damn easy too with a we'll aimed flame jump. But I understand your reason with it being a paid dlc

I'm not really a fan of OP fantasy creatures like that though, I wish they waited until after Aberration to add stuff like the Pyromane to the game :(

The game can of course be played without the paid dlc's but the pyro is such a practical tame its as if you're missing out while everyone else seems to be using it. I would much rather creatures based from actual creatures and dinosaurs of the past though.

It doesn't take any damage from lava, a lot of people say they have been using it but my issue is that once I fall in the lava there is no way back up XD

Yep, unfortunately none of the cave drops will drop them! I actually thought East lava cave red crates would drop them but after opening 200 without one Rex saddle i came to the conclusion that they don't XD

Tuso - Red Supply Beacon and, well...I haven't even found a Basilo saddle BP unfortunately, even when I opened up 100 of each type of loot crate I was unable to find one! Pretty sure you can find them in the red beacon too and the red East Lava Cave crate but I haven't found one yet!

I tried the jump puzzle cave, came to the first loot and the artifacts, but both of them were not there?! I playing on solo mode. What I'm doing wrong?

Artifacts and loot crates not spawning as intended is sadly a common thing in Single Player i'm afraid, best thing to try and do would be to log out somewhere in the cave and rejoin your game to see if stuff spawns in, if that doesn't work you'll have to hang around the area for a little bit to allow stuff to spawn in!

I doubt you will see this comment, but can you please make a video of all the deep sea drop locations? I understand they got nerf and they aren’t as good as before, but they give flak unlike the blue and yellow cave drops. Red cave drops will be dominated by alphas, so me as a duo player, having at least blue flack, will help compare to prim.

Yeah tbh I didn't want to showcase the Pyro, I'm hating the fact they added it as paid DLC, not everyone will be able to afford it so i tried steering most of the guide away from them....I did try and I found it more difficult than jumping on foot haha, i'm bad at that kinda stuff in general though, also once in lava you cannot even get the Pyromane back out?

Unfortunately on Xbox solo half these crates don't spawn for me. The jumping puzzle only ever spawns one red crate at a time and never by the artifact

You must be playing Single Player mate, that is the only time crates do not spawn as intended😥

Yeah that sounds like Single Player, it's terrible for every natural spawn in the game...loot crate, artifact and even creature spawns. Try logging out and logging back in when near the cave or inside it, sometimes that will allow crates to spawn in, or just hang around the area for abit!

I fly down to the bottom of lava cave on ny wyvern and leave it at the beginning and usually use my pyromane. Idk if the server I'm on allows cave flyers but I believe not

It’s wild the people actually view blue BPs as good. They are average. You want to aim for purple ideally or yellow with high armor or damage stats. None of the insanely good BPs are the ascendant blue prints

I know what you mean, Ascendant can be great but I would much prefer finding Journeyman or Mastercraft items that are either around similar stats or even lower stats just because of the cost of crafting being so much cheaper! It's luck at the end of the day, I've had plenty of Journeyman and Mastercraft items that have been much better than an Ascendant BP.

If any of you goofy goobers are struggling with the caves and are running mods, grab the rock drake mod. High level Rock Drake (or a megalania I guess) makes most caving problems a non-factor.

Um those number 5 1st ones u mentioned r not solo land drops. A few land in water. By the land bridge east of vulcano island there is a half duzzen plus land drops u gotta dismount ur flyer and swim down for. Just so u know calling em land drops isn't accurate n ase had this happen to on some maps

pyromane EZ clears puzzle cave was able to get all 3 loot boxes in 5 minutes. the main reason is its jump and if you mess up you take no dmg in lava

Am I the only one that find the centers caves really underwhelming? I dunno they just don’t feel so in depth. I wish wildcard would work on making caves more exciting- maybe adding mini bosses or more variety of creatures. They are so samey.

I do agree! The Center never really had the best caves in ASE in the first place so I am still happy with the changes at least but yeah I know what you mean, I'd love for there to be more caves like the Ragnarok caves where there's a mini boss at the end that can be killed for additional rewards!

Can run every one of these naked with just a pyro. Not sure why you recommend thyla for jump puzzles cave when pyro is immune to lava. You can literally swim in lava and take zero damage. Kind of a no brainer

Because it is paid DLC, I showcased it a little but I did not want to include it at all to be honest, I don't agree with it being paid DLC and not everyone will have the luxury of owning it. I know it is only $5 but that is a lot of money for some people. I made the guide so that it works for everyone.
