Acer is garbage, the laptop's motherboard breaks every 3 months and the repair service will screw the pc even more which will break again right after the warranty and they will ask a repair price that cost more than the pc itself to repair. NEVER PURCHASE ACER = SCAM

Got autumn 2020 and now binned. keyboard is fused to frame and many keys worn off totally...something sparked inside and died...after research...too expensive to repair...may as well ditch. I have to admit I am really happy with my LENOVO THINK PAD 430. It was very reasonably priced. It starts up really fast and rapid speed. The screen is especially sharp. It has a sturdy build, as if it were meant be used outside from time to time. It even has a DVD drive in it!

I thought my HP Beats laptop @ $750, bought as a demo model for $535 was great at 8 years! The thing was loaded for the day with a fingerprint reader, and all the goodies plus Beats Audio. The screen is still operating, but needs to be replaced which I likely won't do, but great laptop all in all. I'll have to check out Dell after reading your comment, thanks! I was already looking at the HP 17 he spoke of in this review, and will likely get that as I have had 3 great experiences with HP products, but who knows.

@@casiesilverman You need to reload Windows. There should be a backup copy of your original files when you first bought it new. This will restore everything to it's original state as new. It will likely speed things up a bit, and is your best bet. Just make sure you have the Windows key that came with your computer, and be prepared with another copy of Windows should you need it. Don't forget to backup all the files you want to keep as this reload of Windows will delete everything, unless there is an option to save personal files. I recommend just doing a full reinstall, and it should help.

Just got the Windows Surface 9 for $1499 plus keyboard and pen to almost $1700. Just started my Master’s a week ago and wanted to upgrade my MacBook I got in 2016. It was quite a change going from windows to apple…and honestly just prefer the simplicity of windows. Now I’m going to change my surface to one of these options. Just got the Acer Aspire 3 today to replace my busted lenovo all in one I got in 2017. The touch screen went - fuzzy lines through the screen. 😢 I'm hoping this will be good enough for my school-age kids as well as the adults. I have an hp 14 laptop 300$ it came with a intel core i3 11th gen and 4 gb of ram I just slapped a 8gb ram stick on it and now I have a faster pc for cheaper 300$ the laptop + 45$ the ram stick makes a total of 345$ pretty neat right? but now I'm planning on replacing the ssd nvme 150 gb for one ssd nvme 5 terabytes the only complain I have is the trackpad it feels like awfully clanky and the poor battery life in less than 1 hour I have to plug the charger already
