I have a blue snowball mic. I really don't rec much vids with my voice but it works great if I'm like in a discord call or something with friends it works great. Not to mention if u don't need anything very high tech. I got it recently and like you said in probably will stop working in 2 ish years. This was a great vid if u r looking for a good cheap mic.

Hey Croat I was going to give you a idea for you channel, I believe it would be a good idea to have something like what Causal Savage is doing, You should do a Channel shout out series give small channels like me a shout out to get them started out for youtube you should have people submit you videos and you choose the best ones and the ones that will need help starting a channel either tips to improve and have your fan base come and support them.

just invest in focusrite studio system, it is so good value for the money i use it for just a normal mic system and i dont use youtube. i guess i do music so i kinda need to invest but i would recomend it to anyone that has some money to spend and doesnt even do yt or stream it is so good and worth even just for basic needs in my opinion

sm58 is a great dynamic mic, just make sure you have about 60db of gain available on your mixer/interface/voice processor and it really wouldnt hurt to get a cloudlifter or a fethead to start with 20db of clean gain before adding in more through your signal chain. If you really want to get a studio sound, get a dbx 286s so you can gate out the background noise entirely before sending it to your audio interface, you will thank me later for this information ;)...

I found a blue snowball microphone for $40 if you have a boomarm for only $12 and a pop filter for $3 Then Its The Best Microphone On This List AND Its One Of The Cheapest On This List If You Actually Spend 15 Minutes To Look On Amazon then you'll find one that for $40 then the boomarm is the first result same with the pop filter and the total is only $55
