Hey cat litter expert! Cities and counties are begging people not to flush cat litter because water treatment plants can't handle the pathogens. Don't flush litter! Never! You'll be drinking it.

Some of us do not have that. In rual areas we do not have city water not do we have a sewage plant out here.

Clay litter is biodegradable surely? Just bury it in your soil or mix it with soil and let it break down and you can just mix it in with compost? Just get rid of the #2’s to best avoid cross infection from the cat waste. We have a septic system and we only flush human waste (#1’s & #2’s) and toilet paper.
