Used Aventus for YEARS since 2011 (had a bunch of the old formulations). Let me tell you this and i am honest... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT! Why you might ask? Well, Mont Blanc hit the nail right in the head with their release. Explorer is nothing but amazing, it is similiar to the old batches (fruity/musky/pineapple'ish) without the heavy smoke amount. It just ticks all the right boxes for an Aventus LOVER. People talk about all the clones and i used all of them and NONE has come THIS close to the retro Aventus from back in the day! Everybody complaining about Sillage and Longevity, please do me a favor and just stop it with the 1-2 spray's. It ain't working nor is it worth it tbh. With Explorer spray behind your ears 2x times each, 1x on the back of your neck and 1x on each hand and dab them on the sides of your neck. I applied it that way and even after 8 hours i get whiffs of it, others more so than myself. I get complimented left and right with it. Get it before they'll reformulate it!

GentlemAn or GentlemEn? Your bottle says one thing and your screen text says the other. Also, is there a difference between Givenchy Gentleman and Gentleman by Givenchy? Went on a fragrance counter safari yesterday and, from store to store, the bottles, juice colors, labels, and of course, scents were inconsistent. I swear that at some point, I saw/smelled a Gentleman by Gentlemen! At least Gentlemen Only stayed the same!

Y Live is much nicer than Y edp to my nose, mostly because there is much less Ambroxxin in it, scent is very similar but more linear. Code Absolu is awesome, I would compare it to PDM Layton just toned down a bit.

I’ve had the oil knock off body oil. And that was a compliment monster and a very unique scent. I’ve also owned YSL Y which was also a favorite.
