I think everyone starts the Mustang mod with exhaust 😂 makes people turn their heads and since it’s slow they get to see it for a long time. My next mod is coil overs. That is a great point about gears though so I might have to add that to my plans.

Sound is the most important part! Gear make a huge difference so definitely add it to the list!!

I have an 03 gt. I swapped the 5 speed for a t-56, 6 speed. Lowered the car almost 2 inches, staggered bullit style wheels, 315 on the rear, 245 on the front. Flowmaster x pipe no cats. The exterior and interior are in beautiful condition. Smoked LED lights all around. Of course, 15% tint as well. Its a very solid car, and now its going to get a vortec supercharger. These cars are a blast to drive, they look awsome, and you can modify them pretty cheap. Easy to work on as well". End of day, i will probably have 13k in the car. Looks great, will be very quick, and not a ton of money. I think a lot of people are looking to these cats for that reason, im not spending 70k on a car, i love the challenger, but i will crush them soon, for 10% if the cost.

What kind of flowmasters do you have ? 40s, 44s or 10s
@otisdriftwood8469 Жыл бұрын
@@arthurfrank1724 40s if I remember correctly. It has a nice deep sound.

@@otisdriftwood8469 Ok, I think I have 40s on mine. They are old and rusty looking. Not sure how long they been on the car. They sound good. I have shorty headers and a BBK H-Pipe. But looking into the 44s.

Best mod for a Foxbody/SN95 is a good set of subframe connectors.

I have a Kennebell 2.1 on my 01 2v, making about 420hp. It’s still not fast by any means, but the combo of a 90s plastic interior, loud exhaust, and insane torque makes it feel like you’re doing 300mph 😂

Thank you! I did a full rebuild with just about every bolt on I could get. Sitting at just under 300 whp. If you want a breakdown of every mod I have check out my video "Cost of Building a Full Bolt On New Edge Mustang". At 4:34 of that video I have a full parts list with costs!

Here's a warning. The intake manifolds had a poor design at the hose connections. DO NOT go with a doornan replacement. OE is the best way to go and the design problem has been fixed. You will lose so much acceleration if you go away from OE, unless you high performance that's expensive and looks better than the original but not really performs for the price.

A lot of older cars won’t compete with newer cars. I jus like the new edge cause their fun an sound good and very enjoyable an face it… where are you gone use 1000 horsepower

Me personally I would of kept the majority of that money saved and change the exhaust and lower it and cold air intake and that’s it later on coyote swap it tbh but rock out man

There is no way you put that much into it and not be fast. I have comp cams, full bolt ons, aluminum driveshaft, short throw , coil overs, 3.73 gears , tune and my car does 12’s on the 1/4 I spent nowhere near that much… you got ripped on price and probably paid someone to build it

New Edge Mustangs look like a polished turd to me. It's like a pitiful attempt to facelift the 94-98 melted cheese mess look. That being said, I bought a 2000 V6 from my girlfriend's dad and got it driving for under $230 after it was sitting for 4 years. I'm almost happier than the day I bought my 2014 GT.
