That's definitely a great list. My top choice has always been the Axial SCX10.2 Builders kit. There is such a vast aftermarket for the 10.2 and I hope they never stop producing it.

Great list, you hit #1 on the head for me. I have a red K10 from the first delivery. Great details and I love it as my trailing rig. Can''t wait to put a tonneau cover on the bed and light it up like my Traxxas Sport. Want to switch tires to go mudding & getting it on the sand. Love the channel. The videos along, what I think is, the Housatonic River are great, I miss the rock crawling... no rocks in Florida. 😭

I like this crawler but there are two things you should have mentioned , first is how the body is mounted, on receiving mine one of the release clips was so stiff that it broke off on first removal and the second is how the battery is secured, basically an elastic band that is quite fiddly to fit especially with arthritis fingers. Overall though it is a great piece of kit. Great video.

Greg, your list was very well thought out and I wouldn't disagree with any aspect of it! As for the #1 choice? I have a Traxxas High Trails K-10 Cheyanne and to me, its a very special truck! It's the "Trail Boss" in my fleet of trail trucks and gets all the attention when I take it out. Great job with the choices my friend! Have a Happy Thanksgiving and be well with family & friends.

I got allot of crawlers in diff scale sizes. My pound for pound winner is the Absima CR3.5 Sherpa! Out of the box with Shocks on the steering diff, aluminum centre driveshafts, allot lights, beadlock wheels, 2speed, diff locking. Also the body can open en close with a magnet no body pins nd that for 500bucks! This is for me the winner of all the 1/10 crawlers by farrrrrrrrrr. Second place for me is the TRX4 (Defender) and then the Axial SCX10 base camp!

I bought a Gmade buffalo pick up version. I was very disappointed with it. Parts are a nightmare to find and it didn’t take long to break. The only thing I liked was the body. So I put the body on my scx10 and bought new scx10 ii axles. The element ecto I think should be on this list! Haha

Yup, the rig is really fun. I’ve enjoyed it. Wasn’t sure if it should go up top since the core of platform is “older” but after seeing the views this rig got in comparison to others, it was the right place for it.

I got the TRX4 new bronco over the summer it’s just as awesome as I knew it would be but kinda surprised by how good the GEN8 V2 is compared to much a more expensive truck like the traxxas
