Your Istanbul guide is superb! Just a question, are there places that ONLY accept card in Istanbul and not cash? Just wondering how much cash to take. (I'm a first timer😅)

Most places throughout Istanbul will accept credit cards and I can’t think of any place that I know of that doesn’t accept cash (in local currency). The bazaars also accept credit cards for the most part but you might negotiate a better deal with local cash. Just keep in mind that $100usd is over 3,000TL and the biggest bill is a 200TL so carrying cash can be cumbersome… it is hard to fit more than a couple hundred dollars worth in a wallet… I hope this helps… and we hope you have a great trip!

Yes it sure does! There is a map with over 100 restaurants pinned throughout the city.. several pages outlining our favorite foods, drinks and desserts (including some street food).. many recommendations for specific restaurants in the itineraries plus a whole page of our favorite local restaurants in the area we stay (Kadıköy :)).
