Chen royal guards Chen royal guards Chen royal guards Chen royal guards Chen royal guards. I know not vanilla but these guys are so stupid op its like the only faction only unit which will dominate the early game. Heavy Spear shield units with range power of heavy crossbowmen and you gain recruit them on rank 3 General with their mixed fire formation they are beasts and their cost is enoug low you can with liu chong start with 6 of them only and pretty much beat every fight until you gain more money to recruit another full Stack of them with 2 trebuche and on last heo have atleast 2 medium Spear guards for that turtle formation on sieges.

@@monkydkfk3909 should be at the beginning right after you loaded up the game, go to settings and look for unit size

WTH, did you even play the game? Imperial Palace Crossbowmen = best archers. Protectors of Heaven are as good as Imperial Sword Guards.
