Unless you count the gamefaqs forum users who got the game early who basically lied about how involved Lunafreya was in story, we didn't really get finessed. Everything in the trailers and everything they said would be in the game was actually in the game. A finesse would be if they finessed us like they did with FFXIII.

Phil DVG Tbh there was very little story in the game. If you didn't watch Kingsglaive and the 60 minute movie (which I didn't) you would feel robbed. As for the trailers that's debatable. When they scratched FFXIII Versus many of us believed the content shown in those trailers would also be in the game and even after they re revealed ffxv those trailers weren't in the game either. This game had potential to be the best Final Fantasy of all time but it fell very short of that. It was the best selling so I'll give it that much.

I agree. It's pretty fun, but fun doesn't cut it for me when it comes to a Final Fantasy Game. I was expecting way more from the story based on how they were describing it. I really can't see how they expected us to cry in the end over a character we barely knew. I would've cried over Mia from RE7 before I'd cry over Lunafreya. Also, they actually did finesse us when they claimed the main game was gonna be 40-50 Hours long. I almost forgot about that.

My list is gonna be based on how I got finessed this Generation: 5) FFXV (Gamefaq users overhyped a story that was never there. Lunafreya was barely in the game.) 4) Metal Gear V (Everything after Chapter 1) 3) Dragon Age Inquisition (SWJ Paradise and falsehoods of Side-Quests being better than DA2. They were fetch-quests.) 2) Fire Emblem Fates (Don't even wanna talk about it) 1) Mortal Kombat X (Followed the game a year before it was even officially announced. Full list below.) -"More New Characters than any other Mortal Kombat." MKDA had 11, MKX had 8. -Day 1 Patch Heavily reduced the amount of coins you gained after a match. -Can't remember the quote, but they lied about having a decent amount of post MK3 Characters. We only got 3 and one as a DLC) -Goro is Pre-Order only and if redeemed under one PSN account, you can't use him even if you're on the game PS4.) -Had to wait a full year for them to fix what they claimed was an improved Online Mode from Injustice.) Avoided Finesses: -Street Fighter V (No Arcade Mode prevented me from buying it) -Batman Arkham Knight (My Brother bought it, lol) -Mighty No.9 (Was busy playing other games) -No Man's Sky (Pissed me off the way he played off the fan who spent over $1000 for the game and beat it in 30 hours) -Halo 5 (Didn't have an XBone) -XBone (Costed more than the PS4) -RE7 (I still didn't forget about how they lied and said there was gonna be a 3rd Person option.) -Destiny (Online Only means no buy for me)

The people that made the Taken king expansion for destiny (which changed the game entirely for the better) are the ones working on destiny 2. Hate destiny all you want, I'm not gonna lie and say that I didn't get finessed because we all did lmao, but I'm excited to see what they do for the sequel.
