Insurance may help but selling boosters for so low profit isn't worth it as insurance would kill the profit. Priority mail is $50 insurance btw. Did sell to a military base once, so it does help to ask USPS (APO/FPO I believe) about weird addresses if you can't find. Can send tracking for cards $10 or more, especially if multiple states away if you want. Not sure of any sites that are more convenient for buying/selling cards as gameflip is good for digital gift cards/video games.

Depends on how you list any card 1$ an under usually no unless the account is new or has low to zero feedback is my advice. Or the address is wonky. Just remembered 1 million transactions with 1$ profit is a million. Dollars. But with magic cards you only need to about 250,000 transactions to make million dollars do to price difference in cards. Also the cheaper you can get packs boxes aka cases is the way to go. Rudy gets close to distributer pricing on cases so it hard to beat him on single not to mention he sell cards at his prices which is pretty cool.

As a seller on eBay for 15 years, this is one of the best videos I've EVER seen on the eBay platform. Many of these tips I've been using as a smaller seller for years.... This video should be mandatory viewing for all new sellers. Also, I would add to video all returns you get! eBay will take it as evidence against a scamming buyer

I remember the good old days on eBay, when we could leave buyers negative feedback. That went a long way towards keeping things balanced. Ebay has little to no regard for sellers now, they have incrementally made buyers have more and more power/protection. I also miss usps freight shipping, they annexed that around 2005. I use to be able to ship cards over sea’s for about a dollar a pound. Usps rates have gone up a upsurd amount in the last 10 years. Particularly for international shipping.

The problem was that sellers would give buyers negative feedback if you returned or complained about an item. It created a toxic market where some sellers basically blackmailed buyers into not giving negative feedback.

This is HUGE. Big facts. I can't tell you how many time I had to talk to angry business owners that would spend countless hours fighting a dispute. Many disputes that were under $30, I would issues a courtesy refund. BUT the owners wouldnt be happy because I didn't take the money from the buyer. " It's the principal" was such a common saying by my clients that it became a joke around the office. Great video RUDY!

I really like this video, please do more. Tips for selling on ebay maybe specific to magic the gathering / tcg topics? and periphery topics, also Paypal. Maybe that's just because I feel I have an axe to grind, but I don't think people know that much about it. I always appreciate your candor and straight (giggity) persona/presentation style. Keep up the good work. I've sold a couple dozen things on Ebay and not had any real problems with it, nor noteworthy stories. Looking to do more in the future, and I always got tracking and such on cards or boxes or whatever. well informative video. sold a lot of my old vintage games, so many messages where people trying to play me, either ignored them and/or immediately put them on the block list. my favorite was "I am not looking to bid on auction" after i refused to offer half of my starting bid as the buy now, when my starting bid was 50% the loose price collectors value. replied back "maybe ebay isnt for you then" and immediately blocked. sold the game for collector's value at end of auction.

As an eBay seller, I completely agree with the block list. If you let these people buy from you again after hosing you once, it's going to happen again, guaranteed. It will save you a lot of time and hassle in the future. Especially if they message you before purchasing with 101 questions about the condition of the product. They are going to find something wrong with it, send it back, or even worse try to extort money out of you, so they won't leave negative feedback.
