Proud Mixer here and Spice Girls was my childhood. Oh Yas! The legendary Spice Girls are ICONS. They may not be the best singers by today's standards but man, in the 90s they were a PHENOMENA. It's impressive what they've accomplished and established within the few years they were together. The world fell in love with GIRL POWER during their reign, changing not just girl band history but Pop Culture FOREVER. It was CRAZY fun. Good times. :) P.S. Hats off to Little Mix. These talented ladies deserve all the success in the world. Actually, all these girl bands are AWESOME in their own right. Women should support each other. Love and Peace! ❤

Siobhán and Keisha have also written for other artists too such as Keisha Buchanan writing “Something New” for Girls Aloud in 2012. Go listen to “The Lost Tapes”, almost all of their songs were co-written by at least one member.

However, while their team did present them with 'Something New' before GA, I don't believe Keisha is credited as a writer of that track and don't believe she's taken credit for it, but one wonders what it would've sounded like if any of the Sugababes line-ups had recorded it.

Peter Durán Official yeah, I see your way of thinking! I love knowing how many Top 10s an artist has and I think it can show success but I don't think it always gives the full picture. For instance, say in 2005 when GA had their third album out, the single chart run was 7, 4, 9, 6 and all but Biology plummeted out of the Top 40. While all were Top 10s, it was a pretty disasterous result for the album and in comparison to singles released by other artists during that time, they were not actually very successful. In contrast, in the current chart atmosphere, singles peaking within the Top 20 hang about far longer than a GA single hung about the charts and are seen as a much bigger success. Getting a number 1 is nearly impossible, whereas all it took in 2008 was a quick performance on X Factor with minimal effort. Add in that Little Mix appear to be getting more and more successful with each album and that's why I placed them number 2. But that's what I love about the music charts; that we can debate what defines success and compare our favourites! I think there's a very good argument to put GA in second, even first place. At the end of the day, Spice Girls crumbled after 3 albums. GA on the other hand powered through their disastrous third album to give us pop masterpieces like Call the Shots and The Promise. I suppose it's all about the how we view success at the end of the day! Thanks for watching and commenting! ❤

On balance, I'd say they're about the same.... Both The Saturdays and Atomic Kitten have had 13 Top 10 UK Singles, though AK has 3 No.1's compared to just 1 for The Sats. However, two of those were covers of very popular songs 'Eternal Flame' and 'The Tide Is High' so really, I'd downgrade those and just say they have one original track as No. 1, so pretty equal. ⚖🥈
