Maybe it's not the case here, but there seems to be this myth that people only watch short videos, so editors keep them nice and short. I'm sure it's true for people who like to watch men accidentally being hit in the crotch or whatever. I'm not so sure it applies to niche channels like this with diehard fans.

I was fortunate enough to see that Porsche Abarth GTL (as well as the rest of his collection) 3 days before that gas explosion happened. Bob Ingram is an incredibly classy guy and his collection is more than astonishing. By far the best Porsche collection in the US!!

My old friend has worked for Jaguar for many years. He knows all the history and nostalgia about old cars. Every once in awhile he takes my wife and myself to Concours. Last year we went to the vintage races at Laguna Seca. 1st we walked through the pits, saw the cars and talked with the drivers and mechanics, then we got to see all these historic old race cars do what they do! Such a great day!

@Henry Was an incredible show- my first time as well. I meant to say hello and give you a compliment on the excellent videos, but got lost in the crowds. Not sure how you were able to pick five, the field was so overwhelmingly interesting. Although the 100k mile story of the Bentley combined with just breathtaking looks certainly made it a standout... Imagine driving 100K in that!

Very lovely video, nicely done. I was at this show and agree these were the more notable cars amongst a field of the rarest of the rare. Already looking forward to 2020. My favorite were the Abarth 750 GT Zagato Double Bubble that were there. So very cool

That last hot rod was historically significant, I believe it’s a replica with many original parts of what is thought to be the first “t-bucket” ever built

Norm Grabowski's Kookie Car. Not first Hot Rod, but an essential one, but the first typical T-bucket as you state. It changed shape and colour many times, the one Mr Catchpole stands in front of is one of its earliest configurations, and is most probably a replica. And as you say, one of the replicas have many original parts, so this being Pebble Beach, this is most probably that car.

I'm going to be in California for the entirity of car week this year. Should i spend one of my weekend days at the concourse or is there another event on the day before or weekend before that would be better. It's 400 dollars for general admission for the concourse and I can justify it as itll be a once in a lifetime thing, but still, what else is on and how do those days compare?
