Aquila makes family friendly Sport Catamarans in diffrent variations, but they arent that cheap but they are the best in this Category in my Opinion

I owned a Carolina Skiff 230CAT and it was a good boat and never got wet spray on that boat offshore. Took it offshore 35 miles and ran smooth with twin Yamaha 150.

Carolina skiff made the 230 cat a couple decades ago. Sold mold to Worldcat, which is now the one used on the WorldCat 235. Nice ride for a small boat. Kind of scary on Saturday as I went 20 miles offshore in a bad chop with waves 3-5 feet on a following sea - which is the only time a small (short at 22.5') cat doesn't do so well. Why? Because you can stuff the bow if you don't know what you are doing or not paying attention. But a head sea or quartering to, does great.

Interesting cats, some I've never heard of, but one question that never seems to get answered in these catamaran videos is: are the hulls symmetrical or asymmetrical? because one is a soft ride and the other isn't.

Can anyone suggest some cc cats that are 28-30'' with a deck layout similar to the Seahunter cats with the level deck all the war forward ? Not sure if I am missing them or they do not exist. Or even like the Tag 360 with the small step to the bow. Im not a fan of the larger step up area like I believe Freeman and many others offer. Being the Freeman 29 still remains so popular, I can't believe more builders aren't targeting that size.
