For someone living in the tropic which is Indonesia, my must have 5 are Beige, Bel Respiro, Jersey, Coromandel, and Le Lion. I have decants of Bois des Iles, Cuir de Russie, Boy, 31 Rue Cambon, they all dont last or can be smelled after 30 mins here. Also sold my full bottle of Gardenia and Misia because of performance issues too. Coromandel and Le Lion bloom soooo beautiful in high heat and humidity. I even prefer them here than when I wore them in Europe during fall and winter. The rest Jersey EdT, Bel Respiro EdP, and Beige EdP are also sooooo gorgeous in this climate.

Hi Dacob, I have just had chance to see your clip video, high-quality and well thought out content as always. Straightly enough, today It just to wear Beige today which is the scent I kinda.. not inspired the most. I leave my review on Fragrantica, mentioned that it smells so close to Johnson's baby shampoo. Today, just before I decided I might declutter this, I over spray Beige (30 sprays) to discovery similar experience. I notice the powdery, pollen like white floral base, enchanted by yellow hue of Frangipani. Accommodating with sweet honey like, pollen. Now I doubt my decision and might keep testing it. First, I must say I enjoyed your top 5 here. I just wonder since this was done before Comète came out, if it had been out then, would you have put it in your top 5? If so, which one here would you replace to allow room for it? It is lovely and seems so different to any other Chanel’s I have tried. I am surprised how much I like it and how long it seems to last on me. It is just so pretty, yet seems unique.

They are everywhere… I do not like the shrine concept of having a sort of display stand for perfumes as if they were relicts or museum artifacts. I like to let them breathe and live with me so they are everywhere around the house. I only never pit perfumes in the bathroom as they do not like water, sudden change of temperature and humidity.

Hi Johnny 🥰 Comete has no vanilla in it… its the heliotrope that has a vanilla accord. Le Lion is not very vanilla heavy either. Le Lion is Labdanum heavy. Bois des Iles is a sandalwood dream and soft in the drydown. Wonderful choice. The hing with the Les Exclusifs perfumes is that you really need to try them out on your skin and see how they develop for you and to your nose. Perfumes are very intimate and we cannot generalize with Chanel especially due to their great quality. So you will need to test them all out one by one… not more than two perfumes a day, one on each wrist, in order to figure out which one suits you the most. Its definitely a journey but one that is super fun taking and exploring. You need a lot of patience with Chanel perfumes but the patience and time are worth it in my opinion. 💖🌅

@@essence-tiallydacob9611 Well. You're such a clever cookie. Pls, check on the recent formulation of the Sycomore. The signs are here. Another interesting trivia... La Pausa was removed from the shelves and is now being presented to me as a layering enhancer with the Chanel no. 5 EDP. ( Smells amazing, btw!!!) I was shocked. Perhaps you could dive into this with your SAs. I tend to spend a few hours a week with them as a huge Chanel fan and a hoarder so they know me. You know how "hash" "hash" and professional they are about Chanel. They are great and loyal but they drop the hints to those they know are dedicated fans and not just random perfume pass-buyers. Now they have a new trick after the release of the body oil. I tested coromandel with the oil and without and I kid you not, the one with the oil is richer, more rounded and lasting and reminds me of the EDT although on its own, it does not smell as rich as the 1957 - I have both formulations of the Coromandel. I dare to believe it had been the intention to make something to make the public get more than just the perfume.
