7:57 I own a 2017 5.3 and all I did for exhaust is cut the valve back off. This gets rid of the muffler and the resonator. Wakes the exhaust up, still emissions legal for inspections and was free.

Dont technically have a truck, it's and SUV (it's my first car) but a 2002 Suburban LT with 4wd and the 5.3 vortec. Took the badges off the tailgate, the plastic trim on the sides, as well as the side 1500 badges. Looks super clean, just a sleek white side panel with no unbroken lines

5:23 the front bowtie is actually held in by clips and can be removed easy but obviously its just a big hole in the grille if you leave it out

Easiest way to debadge is use braided fishing line and pull behind the badges, work back and forth like a saw and come off quick (wear gloves!) then use a rubber body eraser wheel in a drill and rubs the 2 sided tape right off. I also tried vinyl overlay on my bow ties on my '17 but the emblems are textured so after awhile the vinyl came off.

Only problem with tinting the windshield is you need a doctors signature on a special form from the DOT/DMV. I had my windshield tinted on my car in Pennsylvania and that's what they told me when I went for inspection.

Doof3rproductions this is about my 8th or 9th vehicle in PA with the brow on the windshield. I even had a Wrangler with the entire windshield tinted. Haven’t had any issues yet myself. But I have heard that before.

I took my 2014 duramax and de badged and plasti dipped all the chrome on a Texas edition within the first week. Looks good. The plasti dip actually held up better than my paint. Hunting south Texas. 6" lift on 35's . Cool video.

After you level your truck you have to get an alignment. So that’s $80-$120

Edgr no, not really lol, they have to hook your vehicle up to a computer and all kinds of other things

@@Saul_goodman6903 no really. It's a hell of a lot harder to do it manually then with computers, and it won't be completely 100% perfect. But what you do is you take 2 Jack stands and put them on opposite ends of your truck and Tie a string to them. They have to be perfectly straight and stay tight tho. I dont know a whole lot about it but I have a buddy who's grandpa can do it.

With the window tint, that makes breaking the window more convenient. Shoot it with a bb, then the tint holds the window that shattered together. Cut the tint, and its out in one piece.

window tint if I don't off road or camp. sometimes you get lost in the pitch black and window tint won't make it any easier to see those sharp rocks that like to move at night

I don’t get de-badging a ride, it’s an integral part of every vehicle’s identity and visual design. Every car, truck, SUV I see that have been de-badge looks and feels like a cheap knock-off because that’s the first thing cheap knock-offs do before making an inferior copy of a design.

See, I disagree. Badged vehicles look all the same with their plastic and fake chrome letters that fade and crack, hold dirt, etc. Looks like someone went to Pepboys and spent too much money! To me, that’s what looks tacky and cheap. And it’s plain traffic going down the road looking like the rest. Smooth body panels are where it’s at for me! Makes it easier to wash as well!

Daniel Bulloch hey man I’m 27k miles deep on my 2.5” kit and I’ve had 0 issues to date 🤞🏼 definitely puts the balljoints at a non favorable angle but I went 26k before doing UCAs to correct that. Honestly I wouldn’t have even done them but I got a sponsorship so got them for free. Lol so even after the 26k miles before UCAs everything was still tight; balljoints, tie rod ends, sway bar links, etc.

James Wright 2.5” level up front, 2” blocks in the rear. Yes they are 33s on 12 wides. No cutting or trimming. Just dealt with the rub for a while. 16k miles on the tires and the rub is gone 🤟🏼

Try a citrus based adhesive remover and work at it w soft cloth.. it will come off w minimal scratching if any

Austin Cummins been running the 2.5” level now for 26K miles and have had 0 issues to date 🤟🏼 I’m very happy with mine. Just upgraded UCAs a few weeks ago but not of necessity, because I had a pair sent to me to test out from MotoFab.

mike glass had to require because mine is only a LT trim.. needed to wire in the turn signal on glass, clearance lights, and cargo lights. If you already have a high country or LTZ you should be plug and play

Windshield tint is not illegal that’s an old wives tale. Just be careful how dark, mines tinted and I’ve never had any issues. But if you drive at nights it can be an adventure but it cuts out the idiots and their high beams.
