I’ve got the iSteady Pro 2 and unable to use the GoPro’s mic, the motor noise from the gimbal drowns everything out. Hopefully the 3 will be better. I now use the Zhiyun Crane M2 with much better results.

Dave Bartram I ordered the 3, hasn’t arrived yet. I was looking at the crane 2 for my DSLR. But it’s also twice the price.

Beyond the Backyard It’s a shame as at the price the iSteady would have been great, just unusable if you need sound :( I did ask the question to Hohem and there reply was it wasn’t balanced correctly, then never came back to me after I asked how to balance it....

Hi guy I have a quite confuse question with the gimbal payload weight. I want to decision to buy some gimbal for gopro, also the some of information payload on the website show the payload around 200-300 g (expected the gimbal for mobile) if I use the gopro + adaptor plate gopro that quite a bit more gimbal maximun payload. I want to know if i use the gimbal with a bit more than max payload it dosen't have any side effect with gimbal or not.

Here is my problem with most people who make videos about gimbals. When you are making a test footage, DO NOT USE background music or talking over. We are watching the video not just to see how stable the gimbal is but to make sure it doesnt produce that annoying motor noise that most gimbals produce. My question is ....does this gimbal produce any motor noise with the hero 8? It's hard to tell from the video...

I have Isteady pro 3 with gopro 6. There is a big problem. Electric motors make strange moises in the records. It is horrible. I email with the servis but tey are not verry helpful. I send them record to check but they replyied that it is not due to motors, but they did not che k the devise.
