@MisterBlackout2 ай бұрын
@@impul7376 Think about it like this: They don't know not to spam because it works so well in tekken 8. So you have to teach them how frames work by having tight frames. Not doing slow moves that they can mash and disrespect you for. You have to make them understand "oh if I mash i'll get counter hit." Some people in tekken 8 literally don't know why they shouldn't mash or even what neutral is. Df2 into f3 or another df2 is a good way for them to learn.

May problem areas are that I don't use QCF1+2, and some combos need work. Such as, my 24m wall carry being B1F/B2,1F4,1,4->B2F4->HeatSmash->QCF2,1 and I do a low damage WS3 combo. Other struggle areas include combos that involve QCB1 as the tornado, wall/stage hazards need optimized, gatling rush combos, B4 wall combo that uses B2,1F,U->FF2->2+3, wall walk combos, optimize combos that are close but not at the wall, and lastly I can't do the side walk to wall carry from a wall launch. I do baby side step jet upper with the F1+2, but only because I am just starting to use side-step combo's when people aren't respecting my pokes. I will upgrade it once I am more confident in my ability to do a move and then side step to launch/CH. Then I need to train my reaction to more characters cycle options. Tekken is hard man, lots of work to do. 😂

been playin in tekken1-3. like crazy in the past. now came back to tekken8 after many years break. spamming opponents with 1,2,3 and mixing this on 1,2,1 all the time and they cant do much if you keep constant preausse and closing distance . so far 70k points. Usually 10-14 wins, next 1 loose. no idea what all these modes are for in tekken so need to go through tutorials think tekken8 developers put too much focus on the offence. it's harder to defend in tekken8-just my thoughts. i know you said bryan isnt for close distance in other video but with those 2 combos and constant pressure at this level I do so much damage that im completely shocked. cant wait when will start loosing so will be motivated to learn maybe how to do these fancy combos like you lol

Heat and Combos are definitely my issues 😅 Even if I know the optimal combo(I can consistently do the optimal JU combo), I won't do them in match. I often go for the guarantee damage(in T7 I labbed the oki after dropping the enders in my combos😅) About Heat, I use Heat Engagers often, not because I'm trying to get Heat but because of the health recovery 😅 As soon as I get to Heat, I dunno what to do(I saw your and others' videos). In my mind, each Heat option has a purpose and if I'm not in the right scenario, I won't use the move(I know it's stupid but that's how I make in-game decisions😅)

I do your combos from your older video 😂. When the tornado is close to the wall is when sometimes i mess the combos. I use a lot of jab, but some players just love to use launchers from a lower position so after they got me some times it made me cautious about it 😢. Yesterday in your stream when you fought the Nina and the sidewall mess up your combo you went: "Bro? what the hell? And you want me to play this in a tournament?" ahahhaha... I'm gonna take this as advice, because I really want to get out of the red ranks. I always I'm the point of getting very close to reach Mighty Ruler, and suddenly I'm losing too much and getting to the Starting point, is just frustrating for me. Also I want to address another mistake that I feel that I have is not Whiff punishing with Jet Upper, in my opinion it's really hard to punish an attack with Jet Upper. Do you have any recommendations about that?
@Mfwiseguy2 ай бұрын
Try whiff punishing with f4, 1. It has longer range than jet upper. At your rank a lot of people will not punish it on block, but be careful to not abuse it as it is -13. Then once you’re used to that start using jet upper, this method worked for me
@mereto2 ай бұрын
Qcb24 is really his most consistent whiff punish. It's easier to do out of movement than jet upper and f41, has great range, and is somewhat confirmable.
