My only critique of this review is that the F1 engine audio played throughout the entire video so there's no true audio from the other games reviewed.

I’ve recently got Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 and it certainly deserves the No:1 spot, I have also got the previous Gran Turismos with exception to HD at this point due to the price of it and the consoles to play them on

I think any racing game without VR support is not even worth looking at. GT7 in VR is so amazing that since I tried it over a year ago, it's impossible to go back to flat screen.

VR is so awesome that Playstation stopped production for it because its not selling. So don't expect games to waste money and time with VR.

@antonioneves5123 I used to get motion sickness really bad when I was young, so I knew I was taking a big chance buying the PSVR2. When I got it, I did get motion sickness right away after like 10 minutes. So I did some research and the key is if you get motion sickness, you have to get your brain used to it by only playing a little at a time. I played 5 minutes a day. Just one race per day. And after a week I could do like 3 or 4 races. You basically add a little more time each time you play. Now I can easily play for over 2 to 3 hours or even longer. I know this probably sounds strange but it definitely works. I'll never play it on flat screen ever again. The VR is too good and feels too real.

Same here. Driving on flat-screen is like driving blind for me. Can't drive without v.r. now. That's fine, v.r. racing is amazing!

Gran Turismo drifting towards online sports play only. As a hand controller player, this is concerning. Please remember us old school GT racers. The car collection aspect is grueling, 20 million for cars you can’t legit race is ridiculous. That being said. The car selection, livery creation, and modifications is all top notch. I love crating liveries.

Don't get me wrong the legendary cars are very to the point of ridiculously expensive - O saved up 15 million for the McLaren F1 I think, but as you said they have put in some good things to the game though!

@@thehotlapshow I think the manufacturer invitations are a waste. That is not the realism we are looking g for. I’d love to see a license progression like GT2. Building one car until you get into higher ranking races was the best.

WoO: Dirt Racing counts as a simcade made by a sim racing simulation company iRacing... I'd rather suggest that, and the new one coming out later this year.

I love PC2 and since I got an H-shifter it's an even better experience. I don't mind older car roster, I play ACC as well. Same thing with AC, but the off putting thing with this one is constant server disconnections...and maybe no seat adjustment in the dash cam. FM has too many little (or bigger) downsides breaking the immersion. Pozdro666

Wrc might be most up to date. But for any of my fellow xbox brothers or sisters who habe been wanting to scratch that pikes peak itch. Sebastien lobes rally is a great choice. Good powerful feeling cars up the gravel or paves versios of pikes peak

Except of ACC all of the mentioned games are arcade games. The comment about forza not being listed as it is an arcade game was pretty funny. AC and ACC are the only simulation on console, nothing you can do about it.

huge bummer that after all the talk about making f1 24 more realistic and having drivers like max and lando hype it up, its more arcadey than ever. acc is still console sim king

For me GT7 is the best racing game ive played on a console but disagree its the best 'sim'. I mean how on earth can a Mazda gr4 car be quicker than a 458 Ferrari. We all had a laugh with that example a month or 2 ago with the online races. So yeah, not really a sim game but its a superb console racing game

Why didn’t you talk about GT7 PSVR2 compatibility. Playing in VR is a breathtaking experience. Like one of the comments mentioned, there is no way I can return to flat screen racing after this.

Acc is crap on ps4 due to it running at 30fps. On ps5 it's 60fps. It's a good sim but the hand animation on the steering wheel is aweful compared to GT 7 .

F1 2023 and EA WRC, Dirt Rally they're so far arcade parody games and for sure they has nothing to do with sim games. WRC Generations have decent tarmac physics while AC and ACC are much more truly sim racing games. GT7 is another arcade racer with some simulation but more arcade and absolutely a miles behind AC and ACC... Somebody here should finally start to go for real racing events or finally renting a car let's say on Brands Hatch and find out how arcade feels the GT7... Amazing yeeeaaahhhh sure 🤔😬🤣🤣🤣🤣
