ill explain this one in short, the markets more competitive now housings a *lot* more expensive, good jobs are harder to get and manual labour jobs are getting paid less our parents generation succeeded because they had it better financially maybe we have it better technologically but financially were worse off

@@fars1d3s multiple reasons i already mentioned most of them but ill repeat myself rising cost of college rising cost of housing more competitive job market than ever less value out of a college degree worse income higher healthcare costs and the economic enviornment was pretty bad for both generations but undoubtedly worse for the newer ones and because of all of this studies have even shown that newer generations are better at saving and investing money than older ones not to mention most of the inflation ive listed were caused by older generations in the first place
