Massacre- From Beyond Napalm Death- Harmony of Curuption Cannibal Corpse- Tomb of the Mutilated Vader- Back to the blind Carcass- Heartworks . This is my classic death albums in no order. As for modern death metal it's been all about the last 5 or 6 Cannibal Corpse albums

Being a fan for over 25 years I can say this list is respectable. I was expecting Altars of Madness for sure. My favourite songs on Annihiliation of the Wicked are Cast Down the Heretic, Sacrifice unto Sebeck and Lashed to the Slave Stick.

Back in the day, that Deicide album was the first time I heard blast beats, before they were called blast beats. Quick mention of Pestilence's Consuming Impulse--another classic imo. Good top 5, video!

Entombed is extremely overrated, can be switched for practically anything, for example Dark Throne's "Soulside Journey", or Unleashed "Where No Life Dwells", or any Dismember or Pestilence record really.
