Most of these animals just are in massive herds or are just in the max weight range a lot, but no matter what, these animals get hunted a lot. Which is probably the reason why there are so many of them as diamonds, the more kills, the more respawns, the more respawns, the better chance of it being a diamond. (Edit: Thanks to one of the commenters for catching my spelling error)

eastern turkey are the easiest of the diamond turkey, I found three of them in one day on my own map just by grinding for a few runs, just watch aota's Mississippi guide, the feed zones are in the big fields and they are not hard to hunt if you know the map well

@@BroncosCountry_Prodz I prefer eastern turkeys because Merriams have short drink times and I don't know where they feed, I don't find as many Merriam turkeys per run as I do for eastern, I think the reason people find so many diamond Merriam turkeys is because few people actively go on turkey hunts, they just happen to find level three turkeys while they are hunting other animals, which is less likely on Mississippi because eastern turkeys have specific hotspots and can't be found anywhere else, unlike Merriam turkeys which are randomly spread across the entire map, that is also why they are harder to actively hunt than eastern turkey

In my opinion merriams are way easier then the other two species. For example I had four initial spawn diamond merriams on Srp.

Axis deer is another one. One day before I went to work I was hunting axis deer and got 4 diamonds. I left and went to work, and when I came back, my game didn’t save and I lost all the diamond axis deer, but I went to go out and hunt them again, and got another diamond one. I got 5 diamond axis deer in one day.

I’ve only been able to find one diamond ibex. It was a level 4 Spanish ibex. Didn’t even know what diamond was. So I just saw a nice level 4 and shot it. Made diamond by 5

Yeah the 4s make it quite a lot for them. 5s are pretty rare for southeasterns

I struggle to get Ronda ibexes, I haven't got a diamond since 2020 but the other ones are common

@@megamathew7579 I know where to find them I just rarely find diamonds, one big reason is that the small lake on the right of the map is too far from an outpost to check on multiplayer

For me the easiest animal to get diamonds on were bighorns I found like 3 on a single 2 hour session on Silver Ridge

2 isnt easy mate thats a fluke. Big horns are actually pretty rare. An easy diamond is a species you can consistenly chain together. Load African and run the N/S and East coast line at Cape Bufalo drinlk time that is an easy diamond. But it changes all the time too. Like blackbuck were very common diamonds but now even the Lv5 black buck or mostly trolls. Next update who knows what will spawn easy diamonds its always changing. I killed 3 coyote rekt others last week. On rancho they spawn more often. Ive never found one on layton though.

OK see you were talking about the 270 and I have a DLC for the 270 Stratus I think that’s what his name is but I also watch KG which is Kendall and gray gaming but he says it’s the 270s the best but you guys don’t say like it was it like it was the The is the bullets or is it like the actual gun I’m just confuse

The .270 in game is weak. Also it is a base game weapon, so there is no DLC for it. It is just much weaker than the other rifles of similar caliber

@@FishinFrenziCOTW it may be your not hunting them very much I'm putting mad hours into getting them wanting a big horns but whenever you find one there so big and slow it's really easy to hit them but like a fox is so small it's easy to mess them up ( me Messing up a max weight two tones gray fox on Mississippi) but buffalo are just easy to hit

The ibex are not easy. I’ve hunted Cuatro so much it’s embarrassing, trying to get a diamond off that map. I’ve seen one level 5 Mouflon and it was a troll. Never seen a level 5 ibex of any species. I have 106 diamonds and can’t find an ibex on my map or multiplayer to save my life.

I only target the easiest diamonds the ones that spawn most common because i want that super rare fur diamond i don't really care about common diamonds but will of course kill them but ill take silly shots at them and fail stupidly alot. Like a 340m shot on a Lv9 bobcat if i dont care about its fur type ill shoot it wherever i am when i spot it. Aim for that cool kills shot on diamond instead. Cape Buffalo are one of the easiest atm they drink around the coast of Africa now wide open and i can find 3-4 Legendary Cape buffalo just by running the North South and East coast line of the Africa map. I dropped video doing it. ,Mule deer on parque i chain those. Coyote and Bobcat on Rancho Medium Rare but very very rare on Layton or Lynx on medved very rare but easier on rancho. I dont know what to target next but i know to choose one species and hunt it and nothing else for a week or so then add my clips to one video and pop that up. Im thinking Moose and Elk mayb soon but i HATE layton truly cannot stand that map. Even on PS4 where i used game bugs for infinite tents glitch and have 40+ tents laid out and its still a baron map lol. Using a 2nd account on ps4 your kids profile mayb start the game make online map send invite to a friend and send yourself an invite too. Once your friend joins you can close game log out and log into your daddy profile and join that invite you sent to yourself. Many people do this to hunt fresh maps privately. But they hardly know if they place tents down and leave them exit that online map and start single player look all those tents you placed carry over. The game gets confused or something and overlays your playstations maps together. We used to reset population on ps4 this way too. Start new game with 2nd ps4 profile invite friend to hold the map active whilst you log out and then log in with main profile then you join your other profiles fresh map. Then you had to harvest a kill place a tripod tent or anything then exit to single player and that new population replaced your old population. But i think its fixed now. But they can never fix it fully. You will always be able to use two profiles the same way fools use two consoles lol. I was one of the first to learn it and taught everyone in the ps communities and encouraged xbox owners to show Xbox communities. Im sure others knew how to aswel but they tried to keep it secret remember when people would offer prize money for best kill or guided hunts. I like to think i helped end that. Bcos people used clones to win cheating the comps. Plus nobody had to pay a player to help them find a diamond once they knew the games weaknesses. But today its beyond a joke with mods im happy to use exploits but mods are absolutely killing the game. Nothing is rare now. Everything on PC is suspected as a cheated kill. I reset my population the way i was taught by flinter zaggi and zagtactics etc EXPLOITS. I hated being new to COTW 2019 watching flinter and zaggi kill 9 diamonds per video i was hell bent on learning their tricks and i ended up learning way more and on Console. You cannot exploit pc the way you can Console not without Mods. Thats cheating though you are adding code to the game. On console you use the games glitches and weaknesses against the game. With that second profile. Or 2nd console, but thats dumb money lol.

Also i think it depends on the palyer too. One player might spawn X species diamond crazy often on their map but never another. But his friends map always spawns those but never the other. Parque proved it to me what diamond cant you get the last one you need? Its usually Red Deer or Mule deer. But now its easy to spawn both since truRacs that wasnt true with legacy racks though. Lynx diamond are rare usually but if you do have a diamond lynx on your map its probably at the twin lakes just below the largest lake on the map lol. If not mayb its at the far south middle lake, the canyon or west south corner next to the outpost. Thats where i only find them. But the last 3 were all at the left lake of the pair just below the largest lake on medved. The largest lake on medved often has the reindeer diamond and the second largest lake on medved often has the Lv9 bears. They can spawn anywhere but more often they spawn at the same lakes,

I must be the worst COTW player ever because I have 60-70 hours and not a single diamond. Not one. I have every map in the game, too. Except del Rio I think it's called. Do I have to consistently hunt only the best of one species to "build up" to a diamond? I don't understand why I've never got one. Does it have to be a heart shot only?

Also would like to note that I only play single-player. I don't enjoy multi-player as much. Do I need to switch to MP for a diamond?

Since you have all the maps, you need to explore them thoroughly. Check drink zones for every species at every lake they drink at, which will take a little while, but it should work. Also you only need a vital hit, which is lung, liver, or heart. And don’t worry. It takes a lot of people a long time to get a diamond. Your not the only one

Nah, I have 289 hours in the game and have only spotted a diamond potential animal. Whether it's actually a diamond remains to be seen as it was too far away for me to shoot. Hang in there, the game is about the thrill of the hunt, waiting longer for a diamond just means that when you do find one it'll be even sweeter :D
