Base #5 always has mammorest spawning in the area, lots of trees and several other nearby ore spawns. Very nice

I recommend 74, -376 which is right next to the desolate church at spawn island. The reason why I pick that is because it is right next to an iron farm and you will be close enough to where pals will still work when you get your second base. The land is also flat and big enough to have everything you need. The place has pretty scenery the only downside it is radiable.

Thats actually a really good spot, my team used it for a little bit but ended up making a quartz base.

I love #5, it's typically my 2nd base after the one by Chillet. Picturesque and plenty of open space.

An incredibly odd base location I've been using lately is -75, 85. Its not something I use a lot of pals for (just the basic farm stuff, somehow works when you fixed the stairs), and the terrain is very odd specifically the stairs (those have mapping issues you have to fix with foundations), but when you can make it work, it sure does work. You can make the place really pretty by building around the already existing structures. Its home to a good number of high level chests. Raids do exist, but all of them, including the flying ones, get stuck on terrain close to your base ready to be picked off by a big AOE (free loot or just ignore). You can technically build anywhere although the city structures won't accept foundations and pal pathing, but for a non-mining/production base meant for general purposes, its surprising how well it worked so far. Can confirm btw. 150x150 was a build I had aswell. Never got raided.

Im actually building my new base on the 1st one. For me it's the most scenic especially at night because you have the full view of the tree under the night sky.

I like the one in ice biome that's near a skill fruit tree. It's also has a dungeon nearby, and sorrounded by end game chests. But i think the most end game is the one with a great view and unraidable. (great view is pretty subjective, but for me it's near a waterfall)

Whoever likes to feel like a villain in their base, try wildlife reserve no.1 at the very top plateau. There's a couple of ore and coal deposits, but I like it because of the villain vibes. It feels illegal, mainly because it is illegal, every time I am on my base on that island a little red note appears on the screen, that states, "criminal activity is occuring." But, it is worth it for the aesthetic and vibes.

the volcano one does get raided however they always come from the other side of the big wall and just stop infront of it on the other side as a big blob and leave after a while its free exp and loot if you have a flyer to cross the wall

ye we have our breedin base there and they never come from the side they actually can attack from just gotta place the palbox in a way that blocks the 2 regular enemies spawns@@RogueGhostOfficial

I appreciate the video but I'm not a fan of any of these locations. I think all bases need to do double duty. You can't just make a base for iron, another for coal, another for sulphur, another for quartz, another for breeding, and another for general storage and manufacturing. We don't have enough bases for that. Every base needs to do two of those functions where possible. I think everybody's favorite base is the one with 8 iron and 6 coal. That's amazing double duty and no raids ever. 2nd base is home base for all storage, farming, breeding, and manufacturing. That only leaves sulphur and quartz for the final base. I have not found any location that has both. I'm also looking for locations with sulfur & coal or another base with quartz & iron. No luck. So far my best solution is to just manually harvest 8 sulfur nodes next to the Eternal Pyre Fast Travel in the center of Volcano Island, then having my third base anywhere with lots of quartz. I like at -200, 250 that has 9 quartz nodes. I realize you have other videos I have not watched yet, but this combo keeps me in every resource forever, with only a little manual harvesting for the sulfur. Digtoise handles that in 2 minutes flat.

I appreciate the criticism and comment. The other videos have better locations for resources, this one is mostly raid safe/cosmetic locations.

I tried building a base with a couple sulpher nodes nearby, but they never respawn. Nothing built nearby, even the ones 50m or more outside the circle don't come back.

Thats weird... Do you host your own server or are you on a different one? The settings might have node spawn set to really long.

​@@seanorourke534someone said they fixed theirs by setting day and night speed to 100 and resetting spawn times to one. Then when they logged out and back in, after some time they spawned back.

Base 1 does have like 1-2 flyers get in but rest bug out. All ground just huddled as close as they could get

i do not recommend building near any cliffs my pals fall off get stuck and starve

and raids are weird, im on the cliff where you start, sometimes enemies run up to my gate, sometimes they run around it, sometimes they dont make it to my base they get stuck at the bottom of the cliff and other times when they get stuck they teleport directly into my base
