thanks so much...I did you rotator cuff tear exercises too. My physical therapist gave me very different exercises and I am finding yours much more helpful for my hip impingement. Thanks for giving such great free information

Sincerely thank you for these videos. I found that it was difficult to fire my glutes without firing other muscles. I have been doing these exercises for 2 days and my pain has decreased some. I'm really hopeful this will continue to help. Is there a way to progress glute exercises for continued improvement?

Hey doc, have you had existences where a patient has had an impingement and made long-term progress with physical therapy? I am a young athelete have had no progress with pt for a couple years. I cant even do the rocker without get pain. Should i just try to get more range of motion each day or what would you recommend? Great video

Dr. David, what do you think about me doing 100% glute contractions, and then doing thigh stretches? I have no pain and fully flex my knees [yet]. Thanks.

Hey Rosy John, sorry to hear about your avascular necrosis problem in your hip. For stage IV, there are usually permanent changes that have happened that cannot be corrected with exercises. Glute exercises may help to begin to make you feel a little better, but they are not going to resolve the problem 100%. Here are some exercises to start with: "Top 4 Exercises & Stretches That Actually Give You Hip Pain Relief" kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJy8iGZ9d7mgl8U

Thank you for all the effort. I think things really Start to make sense to me. Ive foumd myself in lots of hip pain . Especially since im used to sleep on the sides, which probably weakens the hip even more. However I find myself in pain with a " tendinosis" on the base of my pelvis, thaats radiating behind my greater trocanter. I cant even tell if its my hamstrings. But side bridges seem to help somehow. I will stop stretching for now.

That only works if you don’t have stage 4 osteoarthritis in both knees and torn labrum posterior
