Guys if you try Pakistani food plz make sure you eat it the right way (not gonna lie it makes a hell lot of difference) lol I mean you eat most of the dishes with Roti/Naan/Bread. And if you eat biryani you can put that green sauce on it and enjoy. I'll suggest you to try some Mango lassi if you get from Pakistani restaurant. And if you don't eat meats i tell you try 'Alu Palak' also if you don't want anything else then 'Tandoori chicken' is ultimate the best one.!! Yummzzz

In Turkish it is called Kebab. In Urdu it is called Kabab. You can prepare Shami Kabab & Haleem without meat. And a variation of Biryani called Pulao can be prepared with potatoes as replacement of chicken.

Shami kabaab, kofta curry(saalan) and haleem are best tasting when prepared with beef. Koftas are basically meatballs with tomato and yogurt gravy, sometimes we add potatoes to the gravy and sometimes boiled eggs and sometimes even carrots and turnips.

OKRA CURRY (vegetarian !!!) my absolute favourite hope u guys read this as its actually really easy even if it sounds complicated! wash okra( about 15 pieces), dry immediately or it will get gross and gooey then cut it up and fry it lightly in oil(3 tbsp)...until its kinda brown. make sure you coat it in the oil then remove and put it aside in same oil or you can add more, youre supposed to add CUMIN but its kindof optional. i cant find it where i live so i dont use it. its just to give it a nice smell. add to the oil- sliced small onion, saute it very well, add ginger garlic paste or just chopped.you can add chilli at this point if u want. add two chopped tomatoes if u want. saute it all until its soft and mushy then u add spices, u can add all these spices seperately or from the international section of shops or at asian shops u can find 'vegetable curry mix' spices or 'daal mix' and u just add a teaspoon of that- easy! the spices are- tumeric (half tsp), chilli powder(half tsp), corriander powder(half tsp),cumin powder(0.25 tsp), salt and saute! then u add the fried okra back into this Then simmer for like 3 mins, mix Thats it! eat with flatbread , bread or rice!

If one wants to really enjoy Pakistani dishes, the best is to visit Pakistan. Everything tastes better there...the food is out of this world tasty...mmmm, yum yum!! I prefer beef shami kabab to chicken and beef kofta to chicken, and beef in haleem. Even fruit tastes better in Pakistan than anywhere in the world. ..if you don't believe me, then experience it by visiting Pakistan. I live in the US, and oh how I miss good, tasty food! Even tea tastes better there!

The recipe for all of them are so hard even I can't make them people usually try them out doors but also indoors but when you want it at home it's just mothers who can do it so good luck with eating but don't try to make them plz or else you'll eat just spices because there are lots of minor tricks to handle these dishes

Don't worry Robin, we'll send you names of really tasty vegetarian dishes too. You must have realized Pakistanis are huge meat lovers:). Ok, so: 1- Palak Paneer(spinach with cottage cheese) or Aloo Palak(spinach with potatoes) 2- Bhuni masalay daar Arwi(roasted spicy Taro root) 3- Kareley aur Channey ki Daal(Bittergourd with Gram Lentil). All these r my favorites in vegeterian dishes. Will send you recipes of these soon, as soon as you indicate which one you might be interested in trying. After the dishes, you've got to do the Pakistani desserts, they're really yummy too:)

Pakistani food is not usually vegetarian friendly but you can make variations of the dishes above using veggies in the biryani, kebabs and kofta. Any South Indian restaurant in Sweden should serve the same sort of food but with vegetables.
