Urban fantasy is my favorite genre and I highly agree with your choice! Love each of these authors. I might add David Slayton with the Adam Binder series as well. Although he is a fairly new author and only has three books out. In addition. In addition I really like Devon Monk, Kevin Hearne, Lisa Shearin, Anne Bishop (although she hovers between fantasy and urban fantasy) and Rob Thurman.

I love the logic and truth in this video about reading goals. So, why am I 🤣? Because I don't make reading goals. None. So being here is redundant but I was curious. I like what I read. I want to discover one that makes me happy and ones that I soooo love and hype and made a deal with a friend [to read her favorite so she will read mine]. Yes booktube make preasure in a sense "to be real reader you need to read..." kind of feeling and for booktuber I believe it makes even more preasure because of having-a-book-channel. The presure I have is finding always 2-3 new book or some new high fantasy titels that I wonder when will I reach them. So for now I have a box of TBR book-cover-printed-pictures as a reminder for when I don't know what I want to read next [like I still haven't read Sanderson...]

Some of my faves include the MORTAL INSTREMENT series, the SOOKIE STACKHOUSE STORIES, and the INCARNATIONS OF IMMORTALITY novels. Hope you liked them as well.

Jim Butcher is the only one of these authors i have read, and he was the first to come to mind for my top 5. Not actually a single author, but the shadowrun universe in general is some of my favorite urban fantasy, many of the authors are very good. Terry Brooks is a great author with some urban fantasy books, although those aren't my favorites from him. Other than that, I am having trouble thinking of good examples, lol.

I bought the intro animation. There are several site, but I got this one from Renderforest. They have many animations to choose from and you just insert your logo and the words you want. Then you just purchase the final video, so it's super easy. I hope you're enjoying Driest. If you try some Jim Butcher, you'll have to let me know what you think!

I'd recommend Clive Barker. His Epic books Imajica and Weaveworld are masterful, probably the best Urban Fantasy can offer with abit of horror mixed in aswell.
