I will try all of these. Since I'm a new subscriber to PA, there are so many great plugins to choose from. Before I started to subscribe I bought the SPL PQ, which I like as well.

OK - you changed my mind about The Bettermaker! I hadn’t resisted how interesting it is. Low end trick- boom! Thanks.

Im a Producer, Songwriter, Singer and Mixing Engineer and I Honestly believe these are much more real sounding than UAD

I’m a huge plugin Alliance fan, but I knew you wouldn’t have a single plugin I use! We must have very different tastes, which is cool! I use the 50 series on every track. I love the EQ 200. The Shadow Hill mastering compressor is amazing but I’ve been using it less as I’m more into Ozone 11. The black box and the oven are also good for saturation and tube warmth.

I feel like the BAX EQ is a hidden gem that people don't really know about. Honestly I use it a bunch on guitar bus, and really recommend it.

The guitar amps - Bassdude and the Rockrack (if you tone down the metal settings, Im not a metal guy) are IMO the best amp sims out there, by a long way. I have Amplitube and a Helix, and still.

Love the Maag EQ4! I loved it so much, in fact, that I picked up a pair of the hardware units.

Just discovered your channel. I really like the way you approach and demo things. When you are turning off and on effects could you possibly vocalize "on" or "off"? Sometimes I close my eyes to really concentrate on differentiating the effects.

Thanks so much for watching, friend! I’ll see if I can make that a little more vocalized. Thanks for the feedback!

As a wannabe engineer who was first a bass player, I find it hard to pick up engineering tips with the distraction of that f**king awesome bass line, so well-played. If I leave my bass at home, do you offer engineering internships?

Love it! I use NI Transient Master a lot, for both kick and snares and slightly on vox. Love the Maag. And the Digital V3 is now on my wishlist after seeing your description and example. Thanks!

Great overview, thanks Emily. Big PA user, already own quite a few of their plug-ins. Just getting into the SPL Transient Designer and was interested to see your approach to using it in parallel. Also - great example tune!
