Top 5 Final Fantasy XII Mods

Tonight we will check on some quality mods for Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age that you should try. There will be some extra mod tool requirements to get them running, but they aren't exactly that complex to install. I will wrap up an article about that later probably at Putachi.

Now I understand I didn't add any balance mods in this list or ones that alter the job boards, but fundamentally I didn't have the time to go around and test them and see how good they are, plus some of them do require the Cheat Engine (www.cheatengine.org)

Hi! A couple of quick notes: "suite" is pronounced like "sweet." "Prerequisite" has four syllables, pre-req-ui-site, not pre-qui-site. I hope this is helpful for you narration going forward. Thank you for all the time and work you put into making this video.

It's nice to see these existing...but man is it really sad it doesn't have proper gameplay mods like the PS1 era games have in spades...

what do you mean gameplay mods? There are balance mods that change the Job Boards and make enemies stronger for instance.

Ones that didn't just offer visual changes/quality of life (though with XII...it needs some quality of life) but actual gameplay changes that make it a new experience. I know VII had so many of them. Of those kinds of things exist for XII, I'll have to look into it.

I know I saw someone talking about how they wanted to make a mod to make hand-bombs AoE but it was a mechanical nightmare to mod something like that.

The best version of this game is the original ps2 system. This Zodiac Age limitation of party classes, ruins the game.

unfortunately theres also balance spell and item changes alongside the job change system and playing the classic version without those sucks, so it's a trade off I agree the mega license boards were better though for sure

There's a mod that adds the bigger license boards back, so you can ignore the new job system and play with the new update for the HD remaster version of the game
