It's a fun lake in the fall... Although very highly dependent on plants now unlike in the past, but I'm sure they will plant it leading up to the end of the season. Make sure you fish the big lakes above it, including Sabrina and South Lake. Both of those will have a good population available. Enjoy your trip with your boys and take lots of pics!

This little lake has a lot of cool features. Very scenic too.

Great stuff as always. Oh the memories, many moons ago when Alpers trout ruled the land this place was insane!! It was possible to catch so many huge fish you would get bored of it and go somewhere else.

Yeah it's hard to describe how good it used to be.

Thanks for another great breakdown! I really liked how you cut in the camera shots to show what you were talking about from the Google Maps view; it felt like I was taking a virtual tour of the lake! I've had a lot of luck off of the dam like you recommended but have never tried the inlets before; definitely something I'll keep in mind for future trips.

@@HuckOutdoors And you were out there with me. Always very cold and sometimes windy.

@@thomashansen3932 I think the coldest one I went to, was about 15 degrees with the wind blowing a steady 30 MPH. Fun times!

I’ve always wondered if there are any fish right behind the bridge, I know bishop creek has some just not sure about that section in particular. As always great video!

I fished that little pool down there a long time ago, and didn't hook up. A few friends of mine claim to have caught some small browns in there some time ago.
