My personal favourite Foot Soldier is definitely General Supremo. He's got that weapon that I don't need to reload, he's good even at close range etc. Overally a great Soldier.

As a soldier main, I have played all of these characters extensively, and I think this is the best list I can do: 1. Super Commando 2. Foot Soldier 3. Arctic Trooper 4. Scuba Soldier 5. Tank Commander 6. Sky Trooper 7. Camo Ranger 8. Park Ranger 9. General Supremo 10. Centurion (the only one I struggle to get good results with)

This is me: 5. Standard Foot Soldier One of my favorite of the classic characters. The Foot Soldier's damage with his Z1 Assult Blaster is really good. Decent range and his amount of amunition is good, but what makes him only number 5 (And this is my opinion), I feel like his reload takes a bit too long. Overall, he is a great character, and he would work in any gamemode. 4. Scuba Soldier Like Zero says, he is an upgrade of the Tank Commander. He has great splash damage, his critical hits are insane, and the fact that it can reveal plant locations is very helpful. The only reason I have him at 4, is the same as the foot soldier: It just takes a bit long to reload if you are in a fast paced game. Overall he is a very great character not just to get vanquishes, but to also reveal other plants. 3. Arctic Trooper Basically the Standard Foot Soldier but with freezing abilities. Normally when i use him in GW1, I would normally freeze the enemy, then kill with the ZPG. In GW2, that is not the case. When I freeze the enemy, I actually can keep shooting my primary weapon to take enemies out instead of using my ZPG. Great character, same as the Foot Soldier, but with freeze, but I honestly like 2 other characters more than him. 2. Camo Ranger Amazing character. I usually like shooting people from a great distance (Thats why I prefer the Pirate more than other Zombie classes), and the Camo Ranger can really destroy people. The damage he can do with his rate of fire makes it hard for plants to get away once they realize they are getting shot at. He was my favorite Foot Soldier in GW1, and he is still good in GW2. 1. Park Ranger Fun Fact: For some reason, I thought this was the toxic version of the Foot Soldier. The Park Ranger is without a doubt, my favorite Foot Soldier. His splash damage (Or small stink cloud, whatever you call it.) is ridiculous. I just keep constantly getting vanquishes with him. The only flaw I would say he has is that maybe he can have more ammo (Yes, even with the ammo upgrade), but he is still a great character. Certainly the best Foot Soldier in the game. Worst: Sky Trooper Underrated: Super Commando Overrated: General Supremo

My top 5 Favorite Soldiers GW2 5 - Arctic Trooper; I like him just for the amount of shots he has, and the Ice effect 4 - Tank Commander; A Soldier that has a role as a support character, and as a Defensive character 3 - Scuba Soldier; I hate Peashooter and Citrons getting away from me. But as this character, it never happens 2 - Sky Trooper; Although I find myself chewing up ammo, I'm also chewing up health 1 - Decent fire rate, decent damage, just overall decent. The stink clouds make it easier to snatch up vanquishes

Foot soldier is my fav character, and in my opinion in battles 1 vs 1 artic is the best, for long distance sniper is camo, for gardens when u need poison like damage for multi is park ranger, but overall my best soldier is commando lots of damage and fast reload dont need long time when load is over, is easy to target, when u get use to the recoil isnt a matter anymore is a killoing machine
