Computer scientist has the best range for doing his full blaster damage, and at 54 crits and a high fire rate, computer scientist is way better than dr. Toxic. Plus he has a legendary meter.

I personally think that the astronaut should have been #1. I'm not sure if he was nerfed or something in garden warfare 2 (I don't have gw2) but in garden warfare 1 he is incredible. 15 shots that fire almost as fast as you can pull the trigger and does 17 damage from long range and 30 up close.

My list would be: 5. Paleontologist hes not great but hes pretty good and the fire supports his playstile 4. Physicist has good damage and solid range for a scientist and is probably the best at dealing with groups 3. Computer Scientist hes a legendary so duh ofcorse hes on the top 5 2. Marine Biologist deals huge damage from up close and isnt useless from a range but mostly his damage is what puts him at 2 1. Astronaut has the best range out of the scientists and one of the highiest damage dealing primary weapon of his entire class and im pretty sure hes the most accurate scientist too

This is my top 5: 5. Paleontologist I was debating if I wanted to put him on here or Dr. Toxic. This is the scientist class's fire variant, and I have to say that I couldn't bring myself to not put him on this list. Being able to do 67 damage on critical hits plus the fire damage is absolutely insane. The reason he is only at 5 is because of the fire rate for him. I feel like (And this is just me) the fire rate for his weapon is too slow. Overall, he is a compelling character to use, and I would suggest him in mostly vanquished confirmed (all scientists actually). 4. Chemist I really like this character. It is really annoying to go against him because he is up in your face, and you will die in a manner of seconds. His fire rate is excellent, I like his damage (with or without the damage upgrade), and overall, he is an excellent character. The only downside to this character is that you have to be very close to enemies to damage. Not much to say about him. He is just a good character, but not my favorite. 3. Computer Scientist The Computer Scientist is one of the most basic Legendary characters in the game. You vanquish the enemies, then your Legendary meter fills up. The reason I only have him at 3 is because of his fire rate (again). The damage he does is awesome, but it takes quite a while to vanquish enemies with his fire rate. When he is in his legendary mode, he destroys plants all the time. When you see him running towards you in crunch mode, you better run. Overall, I really like him, but there are other Scientists I like more than him. 2. Astronaut I had a tough time picking between the Astronaut and the Computer Scientist to have this position. The astronaut is the rapid-fire variant of the scientist class. I have him at 2 because he can do 20-25 damage up close or far away. He is the most versatile Scientist in the game, but there is one other I like more than him. Not a lot to say about him. I don't see any flaws in him, and that is why he is my 2nd favorite scientist. 1. Marine Biologist I'm gonna just cut to the chase because this is not even a question. The Marine Biologist can do up to 50 critical damage when up close to plants, and with that fire rate, he can take out an Iron Citron or Torchwood in like 4-5 hits. That literally covers up the reason he is my favorite scientist. Overall, he is literally my favorite character in the game. He did get a nerf, but that did not stop me from using him more often. Worst: Archaeologist Overrated: Zoologist Underrated: Standard Scientist
