The Aeronaut did no wrong. None. I also rode the 2024 Orca a bunch, which was surfy and fun to carve, but was slightly heavy…maybe it was the bent metals, debating putting some falcors on that to see if it lightens it up a little. I got one last year, and it is definitely not the type of board to bite you in the ass if you get lazy. It's incredibly fun and playful, but can still blast surprisingly fast. I mostly just carve around at the resort and hit whatever pockets of untouched snow and whatever side hits, drops, and natural lips I can find. And of course the park a bit, but never the rails or boxes. What size should I go for. Seems like I should go for the 162. But I guess the 159 should work as well (?). Ps. I can offer a peer experience: I'm on a 2021 version of BSOD and quite close to your height/weight (188cm, 78kg, us 11,5). I have a 161w and my riding style is quite close to what you describe. So I would go for 162 or 161w in your shoes. And if you enjoyed 162 Stratos, I'd definately go for similar size on BSOD based on my experiences with Jones boards. @tributeboardshop but you had a board designer from K2 on one show.
@tributeboardshop3 ай бұрын
@@toddschell4461 this comes up a lot - we had K2 in the mix as they were on the ground floor so to speak back in the 80's - but yes we see the irony there ! they really did believe in snowboarding from the very early days, unlike other brand that jumped on once they knew we were not going anywhere! plus , we feel J-Stone is a very important individual in the snowboard community and have massive respect for what he has contributed in way of board design!

Oh we ride them, it is kinda funny I live in Revy and can pick out the Kootenay riders by boards a mile away. Warpig is a very popular Revy board, my friend in Nelson says he can spot us Revy guys by our shorter boards and the brands we ride. Lots of DWD here as well.

All MTN is the previous video. And they’re oldhead snowboarders not professional KZbinrs, that’s why there’s titles at the intro of every board

Yall said you’d take the 156 over the 160 for the hovercraft 2.0 Is that a downsize or do you fit into that weight range? The size chart shows my weight in 160, I’m wondering if I should rock the 156 instead
@tributeboardshop3 ай бұрын
Thats where we are suppose to fit - sometimes we size up but not in the Hovercraft!

@@tributeboardshop Are there huge differences for the hovercraft/flagship/stratos? They all seem kinda like the same board with different shapes. The hovercraft made this list and the stratos made the all mountain list, but the reviews of them sound super similar. Thanks!!
