The worst Aparillo showcase ever. One would think that it is for metallic-like empty boring FM effects, while it's absolutely crazy for melodic and very, very tender stuff. The description was right, the demo... sorry.

Ah, okay, the whole presentation is terrible. That explains the Aparillo disaster. In exchange to the excited shouts and happy moods we've got no clue why the synths are actually good at what they are for. Someone else wrote the intro texts, and they were spot on, and then the demos go on to plummet. No, seriously, what was that? The amazing Quanta in your hands became a stock phaser with a slightly changing tone, Aparillo screams in pain, Cypher 2 showcase was like... "what"? Filter envelope? Really? Why even include these demos if they are so, so bad and uneducated? Aparillo is awesome and special because it gives you plenty of options to "fluff up" the FM, which is usually very bright and metallic, solves a problem of "too straight of a tone" with 16 voices and goes in deep with FM operators, giving the ability to bring a timbre to life. _At least_ because of that. NOT because it can... modulate pitch. And scream hi-freq at you, as practically every FM offering is able to. Quanta is easy to create long textures and yet it responds in a way that enables you to play it like a musical instrument, and it's all about a source, but it handles it beautifully, opening a place for both tonal and atonal sounds. NOT because you can load one synth tone and basically never leave that place. But to be fair, wasn't as bad as what Aparillo got. I get depressed when I listen to those "explanations" and see noone objecting. Just a hackjob, but tarted up with intros, logos, animations and "production value".
