Mothers should be appreciated and celebrated always. Mother's day, father's day, etc are created by marketing people so we buy buy buy... I celebrate with my mom everyday spending time with her, and on her birthday, we went for outing, and during my birthday, I also spent time with her. it's all about my mom who gave birth to me. She passed away a year ago and I have a lot of great memories with her

My mother is a gardener, so on Mother’s Day I buy a few perennial potted flowers from a local nursery, and my sis and I take her to brunch. She has beautiful garden areas filled with all the flowers she’s been given over the years.

Each year (for probably the last 20+ years), I have hosted my mother, sister and sister-in-law for a formal tea party. I serve quiche or salad or soup, assorted tea sandwiches, cheese, fruit, scones with clotted cream and jam and a variety of teas. All on the china/crystal/silver, and with little table gifts. My mother always says this is her favorite event of the year.

Idk the plan for my mom yet, still working on that. I told my husband I want a beach day with him coming along also so I can read on the beach and not have to worry about any kid getting lost or drowning. Smoothie bowls for breakfast and seafood for dinner near the beach.

Just so you know and other parents - My son got a Guardian bike for Christmas. Amazing quality and customer service!! I don’t think they’re fully made in the USA yet but that’s their goal (I haven’t rechecked on the status of that) but I can’t recommend them enough! ❤

Omaha, Nebraska is a great place to visit. We have an amazing zoo, Fontenelle Forest for hikes, as well as having surrounding small towns that are fun to visit. I’d stay in Papillion where there are newer hotels and restaurants. We’d love to have you visit.

You should check St. Louis. I helped plan an event (because I live in St. Louis and they needed feet on the ground). People were able to get here from both coasts. We were able to get a hotel with a pretty good sized ballroom. People from both coasts flew in and most from the midwest drove in. Just a thought for you.

Hello! I'm in the travel industry. All flights are pretty expensive at this time, but I would say either Orlando or Vegas on Southwest would be your best bet. Both locations have multiple venues to choose from.😊

Tinley Park Convention Center in IL is a great location to have events/expos/concerts/conferences/social banquets..etc! Elevation Church had a large Pop-Up event there and it was so wonderful. Also, I have seen maverick city music perform there. It's a huge building with lots of types of rooms for different types of events. It's very clean and well renovated. If you are thinking of coming this way, I think it would be an excellent choice! ❤ I pray you find a great venue for everyone and take care!
