A little tip for Masamune, is to bring levitation scrolls from the ninjutsu tree, even with a single stack you should be fine, just use them once he goes into water, you become inmmune to the damage and the slow from the puddles.

another way to cheese masamune spam throwing star with dragon set you will have infinite . he will block just keep throwing until he drops follow up lai draw into final blow edit: as for maria paralytic ground traps work on her aswell but hard to keep in one spot

All tips. 1. I enjoyed most bosses, but Maria is my favourite or one of them. Yes, the can all be a pain in the buttocks but flip dat! 2. Masamune Is by far the fastest attacks in the ENTIRE Nioh Game. 3. FRICK YUKIMURA, FRICK HIS HEALTH BAR, FRICK ENKU (Or Enko…) AND JANOMECHO, AND ADD THIS, I DIED FIRST TRY ON 2ND FIGHT WITH SANADA YUKIMURA. INSANE. Good vid. That's all!

Maria - her healthpool seem to have scaling problem, her moveset is annoying af, but hp bar is pretty low, so I not really strugle with her. Date Masamune - at first, he looks almost as strong as Sanada, but he have 1 fatal weaknes. His charge can be always dodged by simply walking/running to the right, at the right distance that is. Dodge his charge>combo with guntonfas>repeat. Water phase sucks. For most part, I just run aroud and land some lucky hits during safest openers. I havent tasted it, but you propably can even try to iai him after charge, if you start to charge it at the right time. Sanada is truly hardest, and his moth LW is absolute cancer, it basicly calls for some kind of mechanic abuse. Thing worth notising: when you block his attacks, sanada deal far less stamina damage than other bosses, so its relativley easy to keep blocking during fire LW.

The thing about Date is, while his charge attack is very easy to abuse - its not gonna solve the fight for you. Once he goes into water mode, things get a lot harder. As for other two, I agree with you... the real fun begins later on on 999th floor when you get both Masamune and Sanada.

The dark souls games have very good difficulty scaling at least the first and the third one I could see boss quality going down further into the game. Yeah I could agree with that.

Great video, but I have to say that From Souls (all Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro) are by far more difficult than Nioh. Simply because in those games you can't cheese (leaving aside mods for pc or save wizard for console version). In some of them you could cheese some bosses, but they are all patched now.

Not true, not true at all.. if anything in from games the cheese is cheese for real. Like using a spell or ability that pushes you onto a rock and if done correctly the boss can't touch you

I totally disagree that Nioh has harder bosses. Nioh agreeable was difficult... but after a certain point it's laughable. I literally would go in blind on bosses and would beat them in 1 go... All of them... Maybe Dark souls tempered me into being up for the challenge on these bosses, but still I blasted through them. Only boss that gave me issue was the first one, and that was only because I was still learning the mechanics of the game.

Depends on your setup and difficulty entirely. On later difficulties you can't use a lot of ninja/magic tools so you are forced to fight them the samurai way, which is way harder than it seems, since the bosses designed to be stronger than you (which follows the lore).

@@neptunusequester all these soul player i can assure that they don't even finish the new game + , nor new game +++ they will see the debuff the boss and monster has at later game, the use of debuff gone very quickly so player can't cheese anymore, also if you don't cheese, the game will be harder, player choose to cheese and then complain the game lol, nioh design for all kinds of player to play, if they are not very veteran in this kind of game, they can use a lot of things to cheese to help them, veteran should not use that playstyle if so they are not veteran at all, just a noob and show off like a veteran lol, and most of veteran soul player come to nioh and play cheese then complain LOL, and not even try to finish the game at new game +++ they will see who is harder especially without using cheese things

I had a harder time with dark souls then this game. I actually found this game very easy as the buffs and spells are easily abused because of lack of balance. Dark souls>nioh
