Being definitely a Vata, that was such useful information and... reminder! Hot Yoga has been such a good complement to my innate temperament and personality. Every time I practice I can feel its grounding benefits immediately, and focusing on the present experience has been definitely a game-changer for me. thanks for this full-of-wisdom video.

Now I understand why the balancing postures come later in the sequence. Doing standing head to knee and standing bow when I’m tired from the vinyasas has really made a difference in my practice.

Hey Jimmy, one of the most valuable yoga videos I’ve ever seen! It should hopefully strike home with a lot of our dedicated-and maybe type A-practitioners. Be in the moment and more is not always better.

Great info, as always. I’ve been practicing hot yoga since 2010. I feel like I’m in the downward side of the curve now. I’ve noticed a shift mentally over the last few years. I listen to my intuition and notice how my body feels now, rather than making the posture look good or better, not trying to hold the posture longer just because I don’t want to be the first one to fall out (like in standing head to knee) 🥰👍🏻. I know my practice is in a better place now, mentally and physically. Love your videos! Thank you.

The biggest thing as a type a person is that point #5 non-judgement. I come back to my yoga mat because I am just happy to be able to do anything. More "Look at me today, I'm amazing!" rather than "oh wow look at her next to me I'm never getting my leg that straight" etc

If I had to guess Vata But there are questionnaires online you can fill out to find out which one. We have traits of all three but one is predominate.
