Anyone whining about the death of the hockey guy need to think about it like this: People want to collect his card now BECAUSE of what happened. Often, people's work isn't appreciated until they are gone. The entire point of this show is to say which cards and players are going up & why. This is no different as far as the information we all came here for. People die. I would be pissed if his cards were purposely left out. Imagine how the increase in his cards is showing how much he mattered to the fans and the game and POOF! This is showing the love people have for him.

Tom Sievers rookie card has always been sought after and very very hard to find at a decent price! I don't think I've ever hardly seen that card in any condition below $1,000 for a very very long time but you know something I've been interrupted baseball cards and watching baseball my whole life and I used to love watching documentaries about the Old Time players but there's 3 players that I don't think I've ever seen videos of them playing baseball Steve Carlton, I'm crazy enough Robin yount! One that everybody likes to talk crap about is Giancarlo Stanton, But I just read a story that has him as one of the few players right now likely to make the 500 club. The closest player behind him is Mike Trout who is now questionable on whether he will make it that far. And yes Aaron Judge is on top right now, but if you look at his age and how far he has to go to make 500 it is not looking too good, But you never know with any of them. Juan Soto looks the best out of all the young players. He is 25 years old and already near 200 Home Runs.

The fact some sellers jack up the prices of Gaudreau cards right after his death (which obviously happened seeing the insane price increases the following day) shows there are truly pieces of garbage in this hobby. I hope those sellers take that profit and choke on it.

Don't forget that some people want to buy his cards for their collection as a way to remember him. It would be hard to do so without any supply. In fact more people selling would prevent large price spikes even though people accuse sellers of price gouging.

He's literally sharing empirical sales data. But I'm sure you never read an online sports article about it, watched a KZbin video with ads about it, or watched commercials during a TV segment, all of which earned money for the company or creator. To that end, the Blue Jackets social media has surged. While I'm confident they wish they'd never have to report on something so tragic, I guarantee you they aren't turning down the ad revenue.
