Just get jars of honey from the farmer at paladins bridge, keep going back and getting more then go over to the chicken house and refill them over and over. Combine the jars with arrows and it makes super valuable charm arrows

I've put in over 1.2K hours into this game and TIL that you can automatch the value of the item with gold with a single button. Up until now I've been manually moving money to match. Sometimes coin by coin.

Quick pickpocket tip. Grab the polymorph skill Chameleon Cloak as a castable skill or it appears on the xbow Shadow's Eye (crossbow, Fort Joy) To that, add the gift bag talent Master Thief, which makes you invisible while pickpocketing. Become invisible with the bow which works anywhere, without regard to vision cones, then start your pickpocket. As long you have distracted the pickpocket-ee with another character, you can stay in their inventory indefinitely.

Certain races (humans and maybe elves, too) can steal weapons from their god during the trial, enabling you to clone the +1 thievery dagger.

Discovered the pouch glitch and my experience in honour mode immediately improved. I honestly think thw worst part of the game is the inventory management, so taking money out of the equation definitely helps with that.

Unlock the Song of Nature gift bag, collect buckets (not the fishy ones!) and farm Druidane or most other herbs (not all fungi or blood roses) for an infinite source of money only limited by traders' gold and gear you can buy and your willingness to grind it out. I tend to carry about 100,000 gold everywhere (no weight penalty) as loose change. Ruins the game but I have the best equipment and every skillbook that more than make up for the dull bits.

I know I’m late but farming is the easiest way but it can be slightly tedious. Just save all the buckets you find, whatever your most expensive herb is combine with the pots and than keep repeating and sell the herbs. I’ve got 60 pots laid right at the entrance and I get like 3,500$ per 10 herbs. Edit:also to take full advantage of this you need to start collecting pots in act 1/prologue.

Yeah but by the time you get there, you will be on the way out of the act and likely looted most people. And those are one time use items I like to save for level 18+

way to much work for me :D there are 3 traders in town that sell 30 basic arrows for like 90 gold. give those trades 600 gold and bump bartering too 100. make charming arrows with honey and sell them for like 2,4k (30 pieces). you can repeat it alot of times. super easy and no special gear or running around the map required. i collect every stone and metal piece in act 1 and craft like 200 arrows. you won't need anything else for money then :D

If you didn't talk to butters and don't have a good thief setup yet, skip #1 and come back after acquiring the next 3 items. With just the bonus +3 to sneak (no natural points invested), it's good enough to distract June with a party member, sneak behind her, and just steal the gloves.

The game has built in mods you can use from the settings menu, listed under gift bag. That one just makes them run faster out of combat, which saves a LOT of time over the course of the game.
