CoC DD Inquis does actually require a lot of very specific gear and setup. I just tested this in standard and it is not trivial at all. Took me hours to farm the gems alone. Then the weapon craft, uniques etc.

In trade league this will be significantly easier, farming things yourself in standard is not a good way to gauge how difficult a build will be to put together. As for the setup I mentioned this in the video/notes.

there are almost no uniques, and until Yoke you get a 1c helmet, and an easy craft of a weapon, I dont think you can call that specific

The gear is as standard as it comes. Cheap, low tier uniques (and only like 1 or 2 of them) and a trivially simply weapon craft that needs 2 affixes. I'll give you the gem farming though, it requires 2 specific transfigured gems to pilot and most people aren't going to want to spend 3-4 hours in merc lab to start the season. And even in sc trade those specific gems are probably gonna be pretty expensive considering the demand they could have. Totally get the gem farming scaring people off the build but the gear shouldn't be a concern at all.

How hard is it to get 'Ice Nova of Frostbolts' and how vital is it for the build? I looked it up and it's 200c. That is in no way achievable for my casual playstyle.

If you run lab over and over, transmuting blue gems, you'll get one before long. Just do normal lab and have a tanky rushy class to farm it. I did it last league and made more currency than I ever thought my casual play would EVER net me total, over a lifetime of playing. Even if you don't get nova, you'll get ones to sell to buy nova. Good luck.

Whats your take on Srs necromancer build for this league? I heard they nerfed srs damage by 39%, but Balormage still plays it into poisom srs just fine. Is that because hes very familiar on how to lvl srs?

Did LA into TS last patch and it was great fun, but it did just end up being a mf build. The ceiling is insanely high. If you transition into tornado shorlt omni you can definitely boss... After a lot of investment. It can be done if you can successfully follow a farming strat.

TS is going to take significantly more investment to even get it online now with the mana cost increase, animation, attack speed nerf and the loss of a secondary projectile. Honestly, it's probably not worth rolling in a league where manastacker is going to reign supreme.

My top goals are all 4 void gems and all maven invitations. No Uber-Ubers (85 lvls) In 3.23 I managed to achieve it on SRS Necromancer and now I got so lazy I wanna play summoner again.

Dumbo's explosive trap has nearly 150k ehp at endgame tho. I'd say its probably just as tanky as Ziz's. The primary difference between the two builds is that Ziz uses explosive trap and dumbo uses explosive trap of shrapnel, which means that dumbo's build has better clear.

The CoC DD supposedly kills your PC and framerate. GGG put out they'll do a perfomance job on desecrate at least with the patch but it's unclear how much that'll do or if you still need void MTX for DD/desecrate to play as CoC smoothly.

Warning about CoC DD: Ventrua/Rue showed that playing the build without the DD MTX & Desecrate MTX will make your gameplay 40% or so worse in FPS. Requires 240 pts worth of MTX iirc. Keep in mind before league starting it and after the painful Merciless lab farm and finally putting the build together.... only to find out you lag the fk out.

@@reneemaestas607 i hope so, i might have to check it out in standard when new league comes out, since i set up a dummy build just to see if my pc could handle coc dd, it seem like mines could to a certain extent, but it still dipped in the low 30s or high 40s when in a large pack and a fully juiced pack it would dip to 20 with a 1070ti and r5 3600, here's hoping that dynamic culling will fix it.

atm is the worst, but the best with extreme high budget.. Like if you invest a moderate ammount of currency any build does what melee does 10x better, but when you get rich afk is when melee gets crazy..

Keep in mind, PoE has so much more depth than d4, so I agree that melee in d4 was its strong suit gameplay wise, in Poe, there are sooo many enjoyable skills/spells

Could someone recommend a build for me? I'm not completely new but not a veteran for sure, of a bunch of characters I tried over the years I only got two previous characters through all maps and some bosses, one was BoneShatter Jugg and another one was ToxicRain Pathfinder, both recentely. I want to force myself to play most of archetypes to understand the game better so I thought I could play a minion build or something like RF build, however I really would like something that clears maps fast but at the same time can do bosses without issues, which I'm afraid of not being able to do with RF. Went to look for minions but there are so many that I'm completely lost.

Try a trapper or miner. Hexblast, Exsanguinate, Ice trap, Explosive trap, etc. Most of these builds can handle bossing and mapping or can be specialized to do one or the other very well. They're also generally viable as leaguestarters. They also boast an entirely different playstyle than the other archetypes.

Technically you can macro ONE skill to automate. PoE ToS says that so long as a macro doesn't preform more than one function its fine. Its why they haven't touched log-out macro. So putting archmage button on a macro is possible and in line with ToS
