What do u think about this A giant master builder coruscant playset with a lot of minifigures and the buildings could be the jedi temple, the senate, the chancellors arrest place, the Darth Vader transformation, the dexter jester restoraunt, the deep levels of cortuscant(like the place fives died and from matez sister arc) padmes apartment, the landing place were anakin and obi Wan crashed they could do this for the 20th anniversary of revenge of the sith

What about the sandcrawler from 2014? It was labelled as a ucs set, but it didn't have a plaque and had a ton of minifigs and play features like the mbs sets do, so I think it counts. I would rank it as #3 if it was.

But what section of coruscant? Jedi temple maybe? I know they probably won’t do this but imagine a Diagon Alley style Coruscant Underworld set with modular builds for different shops or maybe the clone trooper bar from Season 6 of Clone Wars.. that’d be incredible

Caleb Green yeah that original ‘03 I believe? bounty hunter pursuit set is awesome and in desperate need of a remake, including it in a MBS Coruscant set would be awesome, maybe the bar anakin and Obi wan follow Zam into, that would be cool

i think the 2019 tantive iv could count as a MBS set because it is a larger set designed mainly for play

I’m calling it that the next MBS set will be the Endor bunker. It will include multiple speeder bikes, stormtroopers, Ewoks, officers, rebel troops, a full scale bunker and at st. My guess is that they are doing all original trilogy movies for MBS right now, as LEGO clearly believes that the original trilogy sets are the “safer” sets to produce.

The death star that was released in 2016 is a UCS set not MBS set. It says Ultimate collector series right on the box.

BicrouZ granted I am very biased as I’ve wanted a UCS-style cantina set for years, but I really like it since it fits so well with other tatooine sets for display and the minifig selection is excellent, it even comes with a substantial side build that can be connected to the main cantina. I do wish some of the more common minifigs had exclusive printing but other than that I love it
