PSA: “AutoCarrot” addon will equip your carrot, mithril spur boots and riding enchanted gloves whenever you mount, then automatically switch back to whatever you were wearing before when you dismount. Works really good and eliminates any need for equip lines in your macros.

I would also suggest ItemRack, which is more powerful as you can create sets, and in case you are in combat while dismounting (wouldnt normally swap carrot for your trinket) it will actually wait till you get out of combat and then switch the items to your specified bis items

You can't move while pickpocketing but you CAN move while Cheap Shotting, meaning when you put both into a macro and spam it while moving it will only execute the Cheap Shot. So just stand still a split second before casting the macro and you should be fine. Mine works 100% of the time. Also faster auto looting in Leatrix Plus helps.

Whilst levelling its good to use because the target is generally always facing you, however if you are behind the target you will never parry therefore a waste of a talent point since in dungeons/raids you will mostly be behind the target.

Not sure if you know bur you missed on the vid, its not temperamental on the pick pocket, if nothing goes into your bag after opening you have to double loot the mob. Took me a while to figure it out but ive never not had it proc, only resisted or worked properly.

You don't need the auto loot on fir the pickpocket macro, the player will just have to loot twice after they kill it. That is IF they don't want auto loot on for some reason.

Weapon swap macro still works in wotlk Classic! Also you can change it around so you can cast stealth and switch to daggers MH and sword OH.

issue with your macros is that your macros for equip weapons and ambush/pickpocket, triggers the global CD. it requires a spam essentially.

You do not need to have auto loot enable to get pickpocketed items. Once the mob dies, loot it for primary loot table and after looting, it will be lootable again now with pickpocketed loot table.

No, only if you want to use a specific rank of the ability (downranking, some people do this to save mana or for other tactical reasons) . If you don't put the rank name after it, it should use the highest rank if in not mistaken

You actually can't use a lower rank spell as a rogue, as there would be no point anyway (the lower ranks don't cost less energy, so they are strictly inferior)

I did use this pickpocketing macro while leveling but I have stopped using it when I realize mobs actually can RESIST your pickpocket. In that case you come out of stealth, pull the mob and can't do cheap shot anymore. So I just use these abilities on a different buttons.

@Ducky1521 It's not about stealth detection, it's about pickpocket's resist chance. Failure rates depend on relative levels, but the base failure rate seems to be around 5%.

Is there a macro that swaps weapons upon entering stealth? Such as when I enter stealth I equip my #1 and #2 daggers in my main and off hands respectively, and when I exit my best dagger goes to my offhand and my sword goes from my inventory to my main hand? For the ambush macro, it works if I have 2 one handed weapons, but if I use the wingblade for ex that can only be equipped in the main hand then the macro starts telling me 'that item does not go in that slot' and it won't switch the dagger in its place.. Is there a way to fix this?

for the pick pocket. you have NOT be moving when you pick pocket.. thats the differnce. if you are moving it wont pick pocket. if you stop. it pick pockets.

Casting stealth doesn't trigger a gcd. Also you can cancel an aura even if you did trigger a gcd.

Only thing you can swap in combat are weapons, no other gear. That's what many tanks do all the way as well - equip a shield if they get low

Most of this is useless.... mounting is not even an issue, any combat button or stealth will get you off mount lol.. distract ability already casts at cursor if anything you just need to key bind it so you don't need to click with the mouse... also the next macro is worthless since you aren't allowed to swap any gear of any kind including weapons while in combat so weapon swap macros are a load of horse shit. Does this guy even play?? Reason pickpocket gets buggy is because enemy can detect you and prevent you from picking their pocket and they get you out of stealth and attack you first when that happens, seriously have you ever even played the game???
